I'm expanding on a thread in The Deli: what do like about RM that's an improvement over RB? What do you dislike? Are there other options you prefer?

I was shocked to find out how much RB charged. Is RM better? Or are they approaching RB in prices? Thanks do your responses.

I often ran into technical errors or glitches when modifying an ad on RentBoy.

 

I couldn't understand why they were never able to make that site function well. The first time I stumbled it 10 or so years ago, it loaded slowly and ran poorly, and in August of this year, when they were busted, it only worked marginally better.

Pricing wise RentBoy was demand based for something that was ultimately an infinite supply. Depending on where you advertised the rates were always different. Travel ads were also not included. That's one advantage that RentMen has is that pricing is unified across the board and you have travel ads included for free. RentMen hasn't increased their pricing since the incident.

 

One thing I miss is formatting options for ads. On RentBoy you could format your ad text to bring attention to certain areas or create headers.

 

From an advertiser's viewpoint I liked the RentMen site better than the RentBoy site. I often ran into technical errors or glitches when modifying an ad on RentBoy. From a technology standpoint RentMen was definitely more advanced in this area. I do have several issues with the RentMen site but its just a matter of introducing a few new features or making minor adjustments to their code.

I tried rent boy out in the early 2000's. I found the pricing high and ridiculous different prices for different cities extra to add travel dates. I quit it after a couple months.

I like rent men better cause I can add 3 travel destinations no extra cost, the interview questions are kinda interesting, and I like that we can post videos.

As a consumer, I preferred Rentmen because of the videos. However, the search features for me were more limiting than Rentboy. I think Rentmen should incorporate sexual position as a search feature.

 

I always used Rentboy simply because of the number of escorts who advertised there.

I have always liked RentMen. I must admit that I prefer the full site to the mobile site. On my old iPhone and iPad I run the full site and have a much better experience than the mobile site- especially where filtering preferences, role, etc. are concerned. Also I strongly suggest creating a client profile. It doesn't cost you anything and simplifies communications.
