Backpage is getting worse by the minute. Any guy who is even remotely good looking or in good shape, is probably a fake. This seems to be even more true with the black guys and I have no idea why. Do these guys actually get any business when they show up and don't look a thing like their ad? I've pretty much given up on backpage. I found a couple decent hires there but not anymore. Stick to Adam if you don't want to use rentmen or the other sites.

Same issues in Miami but I cross reference pics and ads with rentmen - a lot of guys formily on Rentboy are advertising in both - well in Miami anyways - and some even on Craigslists! I've had one good experience on Backpage and another that was bad ( the guy was a heavy drug user) What I've noticed in backpage is a lot of guys into "partying" aka using drugs so it gives you the impression they're prostituting themselves for drug money sadly it's mostly black men.

too much of a risk, the issue of BP quality and scam keeps coming up over and over again...

 

Besides it's just cheap.

Note that it started with WARNING but nowhere on the back page site did I see what this means so I thought the advertiser was just being funny about his 10".

 

Got to the hotel (decent hotel in suburbs)

text him I was in lobby, he ask me if I was law enforcement, gave me room number

open the door and it is very dark, walk in and quickly realize it not the same guy at all, guy ask for

his "donation", I say I am leaving and head for the door, he bolts in front of me, tells me I am not leaving

until he has his donation and that there are other people in the bathroom.

I give him the "donation" and get the hell out of there.

 

LESSONS LEARNED

1) Never Hire off Back Page. Assume way to many ads there are scams.

2) I had asked the guy to meet me in a public space, the hotel bar or coffee shop etc, he refused.

3) The guy (IN THE AD) was extremely good looking for the $150 "donation"

4) Never enter an extremely dark room and don't let the escort get between me and the door.

5) I never carry any extra money with me when I see an escort anyway and all the more glad I have

adopted that policy as this could have gotten messy.

6) If it seems too good to be true IT ALMOST ALWAYS IS NOT TRUE !!!

7) Stick with guys well reviewed on Daddy's.

I mentioned this to a friend earlier today and he said "blackpage." Not sure if it was a slip but why are 80% of the guys on there who advertise black?

I asked around and its true almost all men lately posting on BP are black and into "partying" why that is I have no idea.

Here in NYC it's also true 90% of the guys on BP are ethnic and usually way uptown ie The Bronx or far into Queens, but I always felt funny pointing that out, it seemed prejudicial. But fact is many of these str8boys use BP as a license to steal they troll for Manhattan-ites willing to either come out to them, or, even better for them, have them in their own apartments. Stories I've been told run the gamut from best case being they grab your cash and run or chase you out, to worst where a knife is pulled on you. They also know their victims are LESS likely to report anything due to the nature of the meeting. I tell buds who that type appeals to who are thinking of hiring one from BP that they'd be safer walking around Damascus dressed as Uncle Sam. It may be diff in other parts of the country, but HERE, it's sadly just the way it is. ONE safety check since BP is cheap as someone pointed out, is looking for corresponding ads on other sites that charge more. NOT a guarantee of course, it only thins out the danger pool a tad. But I can tell you most of us in NYC look at a BP ad the same way we look at an email saying we have 4 millions dollars waiting in the Bank Of Nigeria :confused:

*fyi there "was" a time here when a true starving student newbie never did this before can't afford an ad - hidden gem COULD be found on BP, but nowadays you'd have better luck finding a free parking space than one of those:rolleyes:

I lived in NYC for 20 years and found a parking space once!

drifting, I found out from him, is a popular thing now, for some, in which you drive a car sorta fast and then do some combo of braking and steering to maneuver the car into some sort of controlled spin....you can google it for more.....if interested

Drifting is VERY popular here in Florida. Been to a couple of events. They burn through a set of tires in one or two laps. Amazing what they can do with older cars.
