"Latter Days" for Holy Week

I just wanted to ask if others have been as profoundly affected in a spiritual way as I have by this movie? I saw it Palm Sunday evening with friends and tonight by myself so I could cry alone. It paralleled so many issues in my own life and Catholic upbringing in a small town. Great acting and great message-- a good Easter treat!

I agree. I enjoyed the movie immensely when it played here at the Tara Theatre in Atlanta. I guess you just substitute getting molested by a priest in place of the electro shock therapy

Yes I loved the movie, and I definitely was hit by the movie, I posted before so I won't go through it again. However, it is because the story is very close to my heart.

The movie run was extended in Salt Lake City so I'll be seeing it again. As a former Mormon missionary, and someone who the Mormons wanted for electro-shock therapy, I found the movie a very accurate depiction of life inside the "Mormon Curtain".

 

But, I still haven't seen Passion yet and want to add that to my Holy Week agenda also.
