Bill Maher mentioned this in "New Rules" the other night, and I thought I'd take a look.

What's wrong with showing your nipples through your shirt or sweater? I think it's a turn-on! Or perhaps that's the point?? (No pun intended!)

In some situations it can look ridiculous. If a man is wearing a white or light dress shirt his body hair pattern or nipples should not be evident through the sheerness of the fabric. That, however, is what undershirts are for.

I do have a couple of friends who run marathons. On their packing list for race day along with their shoes, socks, shorts, and watch is body glide or bandages for their nipples.

When I was in high school, I used to cover my nips with band-aids. Especially during cold weather, they got really sore from rubbing against my clothing. I understand it is fairly common for boys that age to have sensitive nips because of the raging hormones.
