Ok guys I need some advice.

While on my business trip to Orlando I got very lucky and found a diamond in the rough. AngeloD from Rentmen.:)

He is fairly new and not reviewed. He was amazing and asked me to review him.

Although I have read hundreds of reviews on this site, I now have "reviewers block"

What should I include? Should I be long flowery and verbose? Or short and brief?

We spent 48 hours together do I include it all?

What about sex?

I have written the review on my Macbook but it's 4 pages long and reads like sociology student's field notes.

Your advice would be appreciated.

Include enough detail that gives the reader an idea of what the two of you did. You don't have to include every little detail. To shorten it, don't include that much detail about the sex you had.

Good for you!!!

No. Just no!

...Or short and brief?...

Well, no, because you risk writing a useless review.

Or perhaps a Homeland Security report, but I digress.

OK, enough joking around. Here are a few suggestions:

  1. Tell us about the hiring process: How did you contact the escort? What is his preferred contact method? What was the lag between you contacting him and his returning your contact? How was the tone of his replies? Was he receptive to discussing your likes/dislikes/must-haves/nice-to-haves?
  2. Tell us about his appearance: Did he look like his pictures and match the description in his ad? What does he look like? What is his body type? Hairy/smooth/scruffy/exceptionally groomed? Smoker (if so, was it detectable) or non-smoker?
  3. Tell us in brief about the encounter: I can't speak for everyone, but I find rambling reviews that read like porn stories from the old Advocate Men to be useless. I don't have time to tease out salient points from 10,000 words of prose. Reflecting on the types of questions guys ask in the Deli, here are some must-include highlights:
    • Daddy Sez: "Until the Rentboy situation is resolved I am not comfortable accepting explicit reviews."

[*]Tell us in brief about other aspects of the date: It sounds like you did more than just have sex, so tell us about his demeanor in and out of the bedroom. PS: If having sex is what you did for 48 hours kudos to you, man.

Lastly, take a look at The Deli and see the kinds of questions potential clients ask about escorts. Make sure your review answers those questions and you will have written a good review.

Good luck!!

+1 ...to what rvwnsd has said, with special attention to the points in #3.

It appears that the review will be a positive one, so write what you really feel. It's natural to want to do a little promotion of the escort, I'm certainly guilty of that, but I agree with rvwnsd, when it starts to read like a bad romance novel, then I tend to not take seriously the rest of the review. Enjoy the process...good luck.

Considering the current state-of-affairs, I would keep the review short and sweet, leaving out details of any intimacy. Rentmen now only displays a star rating and basic particulars, such as date of session, cost, and whether or not the reviewer recommends the escort.

Also: Write a little about yourself. Your height-ish, weight-ish, age-ish. Your preferences.

I like me my muscleboys. One of my best encounters was with a 26 year old, 5'1", 115#. He was great fun, although definitely not in my normal range of things.

I just looked him up. He really is a diamond in the buff!

Not what I what I would usually go for either but the scene in Orlando was not appealing to me, so I took a chance which I rarely do in these situations and I don't regret it at all. The time was well worth it.

Actually we are now discussing the possibility of him joining me for my personal vacation later this fall. :D Time to take advantage of the booming real estate market in Denver.

I would be cautious as to the amount of specific detail about any sexually activities.

You may have noticed that the last three reviews Daddy posted made no mention of any sex acts.

Good advice. Things have changed for sure.

If there was something unique about the experience, that should be the highlight. It seems he is not your usual style but you found him charming and sexy. That should be the main thrust, so to speak.

The most important things are:

Communication: Easy, OK, Other

Match His Pics? Yes or No

Match His Description (Likes, Preferences)? Yes or No

We need to know if his ad is an accurate representation. Exactly how the two of you spent your time is none of our business.
