If someone posts a link to a specific ad, you can get into A4A without joining. But to see all the ads, I'm fairly sure you have to join. But I find the selection there to be very limited. I can tell you that in Seattle and Dallas the majority of escorts advertising in A4A are black thug type.

It's funny, but I had a discussione with a local working guy yesterday about where I would go given the demise of RentBoy. I guess the answer is Rentmen, BUT in truth I never really used either site as my preferred method of for searching.

 

Since I started hiring I always used Daddy's reviews as my point of reference. Actually, it was the HoBoy site way back then and I searched by city and got a shortlist of escorts and narrowed things down based on the links to the escorts website (if they had one) and their reviews. I lurked on this forum for years prior to joining and got all sorts of info. Of course after joining I was able to make inquiries and get specific answers to those queries.

 

Eventually one then developed relationships with various posters with whom one could compare notes. In essence I guess that I used the RentBoy and similar sites to check out pics of guys after I learned about them from either this site or from a friend who had hired them.

 

I know it can be dicey for escorts to post frequently on this site. However, if an escort is able to use this place and participate in a manner that does not generate any type of controversy I would think that it could be a goldmine. However, all I can say to that is, "Easier said than done!"

 

So in summary, the answer is RentMen, but I still would never think of hiring anyone without getting some sort of assurance from either good reviews and feedback here or the opinion of a friend. Plus, if anything happens to RentMen or similar sites that will make this place all the more valuable.

 

Still, I can understand that some guys need it and need it immediately and that's where other possibly more questionable sites come into play. All I can say to those guys is think with the head on your shoulders...

 

Incidentally, as I posted on another thread RentMen seems to be up and running at least for me today.

There was the former Maximun Escorts in NYC. Still, they had a relatively small roster, but they featured mostly quality guys. They were good to contact in a pinch if you needed to have some diversion. Unfortunately, they bit the dust.

The only big con for the place is that it is an event that takes place only once a week, on Sunday. I am a teacher, they cannot have a worst schedule for me.
