It's great living in Fort Lauderdale this time of year. Though our stupid politicians discourage Spring Breakers and the crowds are certainly less than the 500,000 in the days of "Where The Boys Are"....the 100,000 or so that will show up over the next few weeks are certainly welcomed by me.

The weather today is spectcular, wish you were here! :7

I'll take two of these, please. You can ship COD to my house. Or First Class on any domestic airline. Or, I'll send a plane...

Gracious sakes. Be still my beating heart.

Where The White Boys Are

It appears to be a pretty pale selection; is that the source web site, your personal selection or what Fort Lauderdale is like in these days? When I was there going to the Art Institute, the area was full of a number of beefy, over-rought Cuban boys with tight, high asses....

RE: Where The White Boys Are

Franco, Fort Lauderdale does attract the type of boy Les posted above during spring break. You can always tell from their (relatively) pale skins as they arrive from the snowy North and then their pretty pink skin after 3 or 4 days on the beach. The Latinos tend to be more of the locals, especially in Sobe but some in Ft Lauderdale as well. It's all eye candy in my view :p

How did Fort Lauderdale manage to clean up Dodge and send many of the spring breakers packing? It was so simple. They passed a law that makes it illegal to walk around with an open can of beer. That did the trick. Now the spring breakers trash Daytona and the beaches along the Panhandle of Florida. Cancun is another destination because it's so cheap compared with most Carribean vacation spots. But as Les pointed out, there are still plenty of spring break bodies to view.

Just to add a statistic. The approximate number of tourists visiting Ft. Lauderdale annually is 500,000. And many of these are not spring breakers. So the number Les estimated (100,000 or so) sounds right on.
