Why are "we" giving so much crap and grief to a newbie? Seems we should be more welcoming and accepting unless/until we are given proof someone is a fake. Nah, I think he was entitled to respond as he did. The other guys came into the forum and introduced themselves (to the apparent delight of certain other posters!), whereas someone else posted a link to Sean's ad and asked questions. By the time he got here yesterday, a month after the first post in the thread, his bona fides were already being questioned and he defended himself. I would say he has turned the opinions of the forum around. I hope he keeps chatting here, but I don't think reinventing his persona in here would help all that much.

update: just talked to him on the phone and he was youngish-sounding, sharp, chatty, and answered my questions.....he'd earlier sent me a current picture (see my post above) and, when pressed, said the ad pictures were just a little bit old and that they were of him tanned, etc....(the current picture he sent me is of an unshaven, untanned dude who looks like he just woke up!).....we talked about the fake picture epidemic....his travel schedule is changing as appointments come in in Dallas, where he is now.....couple red flags: he wants money up front (was stiffed a couple times, he said) and won't meet in the lobby for an incall (but agreed to meet at the elevators upstairs).....I certainly know the concerns with these items....he was fairly blunt and honest about his limits and asked if I was "ready to fall in love" (I said "no", actually, and told him why!)

 

as his schedule gels, we are going to stay in touch.....

Just to be fair about the unshaven, untanned dude who looks like he just woke up picture, how many other advertisers use more attractive photos, but if the current picture was able to verify his authenticity then he should get a little bit of a break for not always being picture perfect.

 

That being said the red flag issues fly high.

 

And just a personal note, I'm sure his limits don't jive with my needs. But once again I appreciate the bluntness and honesty.
