It sounds like the only differences between our experiences were that:

• He was hard with you the whole time but only briefly so with me.
  
• You had him do an outcall while I had him do an incall (hence he didn't have the shower issue with me since we were in his hotel room).
  
• You had the phone call request rejected while I didn't make a phone call request.
