Reading this review was disturbing on quite a few points.

The reviewer was, at least, tenacious, almost to the point of being mishigas. After being told to go away multiple times, perhaps he should have taken the hint? Horns is horns, and maybe I should give him credit for his indefatibility.

What I find very disturbing, however, was the escort's response:

In closing, thank you for the $100. I was able to go out and buy the largest bottle of Grey Goose vodka to continue the process of detachment.

Wow. Having read that, would I ever want to meet the escort? I seriously doubt it.

Just disturbing.

This is definitely one of those times when the escort would have been better served by silence. I am always amazed how many escorts totally destroy their credibility by the nature of their response to a negative review. I definitely agree with Gallahadesquire that the Grey Goose comment was mind boggling.

Guest Starbuck

I went and looked at the guy's advertisement and here's my thought ... maybe he finally had an erection when he was writing his response and the enormous volume of blood displaced from his head to get that dick hard caused mental malfunction.

I do find it rather sad when an escort responds so honestly that it puts him in such a bad light. He does really sound like he is somewhat desperately trapped in a downward spiral. All kudos to the reviewer who kept trying until he got what he thought he wanted!!!

I'm definitely in agreement with the opinion that no response from Tyler here would have been so much better for the escort but his response does sound like a plea for help, IMHO. Just sad. :(

I took the last bit about the vodka as sarcasm from Tyler.

So did I, actually. There is probably no role for sarcasm in a response to a negative review, but I actually felt better about him after reading the whole response, because he at least admitted he was truly sorry and ended with something that I took to be self-deprecating, sarcastic, and trying to put a witty spin on a negative situation he created through his choices.

Nobody has addressed what he said about how "politely turning [the client] down" could have led to a negative review. He's incorrect, right? My understanding is you can't write a negative review about an appointment that never happened. I've often wondered about that, because I've heard of situations where escorts did absolutely flaky things and cancelled appointments at the last minute with clients who'd gone through time and expense and travel to be with them. It seems like that kind of behavior should be fair to hold escorts accountable to, especially if its a pattern. Having said that, this review argues why it might be better to simply let escorts who cancel off the hook, because it shows how the alternative - going through with an appointment regardless, because you're calculating you're gonna get slammed anyway - may simply be making matters worse.

IDK what daddy's policy is, but I fully agree with you.

I agree that the response was an attempt at being witty. It turned out to be unsuccessful and, frankly, a poor choice of tone. Tyler should have condensed the response to one statement:

"For my terrible indifference, lack of a hard on and for my declaration of being "over it"--- I am truly sorry."

...Nobody has addressed what he said about how "politely turning [the client] down" could have led to a negative review. He's incorrect, right? My understanding is you can't write a negative review about an appointment that never happened....

You are correct. A review cannot be posted for a session that did not occur. However, he could have been referring to negative commentary on the Forum, which he received anyway.

Had I been the client, when Tyler said he was not available and asked me to call back later I would have either called back and scheduled for another day or found someone else. When attempting a same-day appointment there is a risk the escort will be a) unavailable or b) available but unprepared/preoccupied. In this case the risk of "b" was realized. Sadly, it resulted in an unhappy client, a negative review, a disastrous response from the escort, and a less-than-positive Forum thread.

I read the review, I think sometimes we forget escorts are human beings. Maybe I'm biased cause I met Tyler once but his response seemed honest to me. He just wasn't up to it and in the face of a persistent client gave in to a meet when he admits he shouldn't have.

Also his last sentence about drinking to continue his detachment is very concerning to me. Read like a plea for help. Hope it works out for him.

I will say that Tyler's reponse was a bit much but I know him and don't think it was meant to be malicious. Just the wrong choice of words. I have known him for several years and have hired him on many ocassions. I've seen him earlier this year and he has always been professional and able to perform like a stallion. I would think this experience was just a bad night which escorts can have and after a day of partying and drinking, with a dick as big as his, I'm not surprised that he couldn't rise to the ocassion. The unfortunate thing is that he only has two reviews out there so the bad one goes a long way. I put a review out years ago on Rentboy but I think that site is gone now for their reviews. Anyway, that really doesn't represent who he is. Just my 2 cents!
