There was some talk about Rosie in another thread.

 

Ellen has done everything right from being topical,funny, real and her sexual persuasion has never really been an issue because she has been honest with her audience from day one. And from what I hear her ratings are going up all the time.

 

If anyone has the Tivo that can record on CD, I'll gladly pay you if you record her shows for me. I miss her. Then I can go back to Brazil and have them stolen. Maybe those boys can learn something from her. :+

 

Anyway, just my 2 cents.

Your post implies that all boys in Brazil are thieves. Surely that is not what you meant to imply is it? I realize this is your sandbox, And of course you can Say and do as you please.

But really, too many of us have visited Brazil to believe that all of the kids there are looking to rip people off. Perhaps you just fell in with the wrong bunch who were looking for a way to cover their drug habit? You know that drug use is a major problem in a lot of cities and when tourists become victims, drugs are often involved.

 

anyway, just my two cents. I can gladly give you names and contacts of hot men who won't rip you off.

No, it was just my very warped sense of humour. (I'm spelling humor that way because I am in Hong Kong and when in HK, I speak British/Chinese.)

 

Sorry if I meant to imply that all the boys in Brazil are thieves. I have some wonderful friends there and I plan to be back in a month. In fact, I'm thinking of getting an apartment in Sao Paolo. That way, I can give my key to all my friends and let them take what they want because now I am buying two of everything.

I agree about Ellen, which I only catch if I am home sick or on vacation. She has done a great job of creating an interesting and entertaining show.

 

I do have a question about Hong Kong which I visited while on R & R from Vietnam in 1969. Hong Kong is one of the most beautiful places in the world; a great place to visit for a week. Since you go back often and can live any where you like, what keeps drawing you back?

It would be interesting to visit Hong Kong again under very different circumstances. (I also got to Sydney in 1969, which is a place that I have visited time and again since.) Hong Kong is a less obvious choice.

I can assure you, that I have had more rip offs right here among 'normal' people, then I have had in other countries.

And the guys in Rio were very trustworthy, if you didn't work the street ccorners for your contacts!

 

Perhaps taking responsibility for what happens to you in your life will mean less need to hold others responsible for your misfortunes!

At least, that is what I have learned about living in this world!

I think if you read and comprehended my poor writing skills, you will see that I took FULL responsibility for what happened to me in Brazil. My advice was nothing more than the guys in the South America forum have been warning people about. I'm just a naive, no-talent hick from Texas.

 

What draws me back to Hong Kong? I really do not know. I guess because they have Bank of America and New York City does not. And I had to replace the cell phone that was stolen from me in Brazil. They do not lock down the phones like they do in the USA, so I can get a new SIM card no matter where I am.

 

As for my key: I do not think I have any friends, so my key is safe but I am buying two of everything because I want people to love me, just like Sally Field. Today I actually read the manual that came with the cell phone I bought. But I do not know what the number is or I would call my other one and ask Davies what he plans on doing when the battery runs down.

 

And, no I am not Miss America. I am Miss Piggy with a tit showing, remember? (I was sure Miss Piggy at the Peninsula Sunday buffet.)

Having never been to the Pennensula in HK I can only imagine that it is 10 times grander and more elegant than the one in Beverly Hills-and that is pretty damned wonderful-but really expensive at $75 per person!Since I don't drink $50 usd is my cut off for a brunch buffet.Hope you are having fun traveling Hoo.

You need to convince Rupert's son, whom you can probably find in Hong Kong, to put Oxygen on whichever broadcast satellite Rupert owns in South America, Ellen is re-run at a reasonable hour so you can actually just watch it "live."
