Funny no one asked for an Angry Dutch Orgy :) (A name for a fake alcoholic mix drink. Ordered when you are trying to make a pass at the bartender. you ask for an 'angry dutch orgy' naturally the bartender will have no clue what you're talking about so you offer to go behind the bar and show them how to make it, it is mainly an excuse to get in physical contact with the bartender.)

Frankly, I think you've been way too kind, Despardo. Nobody would expect you to provide these cocktails in your room, unless your name is 'bartender' and your hotel room looks like this:

Wise words. http://i.imgur.com/hMKDFgz.gif http://i.imgur.com/hMKDFgz.gif

Most people I know wouldn't accept an alcoholic beverage on a first time visit, especially if you're hiring for an hour or two. I'd make sure to have cold bottled water and a few drinks of your choice, just in case.

Don't overthink this and make sure you drink plenty of water in the desert. ;) Have fun in Vegas!

"Hydrate Hydrate Hydrate"

Gee, which hotel is that? Maybe I should have booked there! You know, all I did was offer a choice of beer, wine, soda or water--easily provided. In my previous experience, 90% asked for water only, one shared some white wine with me in a hot tub (which was nice,) and another nursed a single beer for over an hour. I really didn't think I was implying I had an open bar. Was only trying to create a rapport and appear civilized. In the future, I will provide a choice of water and one alcoholic beverage of my choosing (Would you like a glass or wine, or a bottle of water?) in the room and not before.

I always have lunch or dinner with the escort I'm meeting, prior to our play time, in order to break the ice and get to know him a little. If either of us wants something to drink we order it -- end of story.

I've never done that, but I have a question for you. When one invites an escort to dinner or to an event of some kind (show, concert, etc.,) I assume one pays for the tickets and the dinner, but is one expected to pay for the escort's time as well, and if so, would it be at the same hourly rate as play time? Real question.

Most credible guys do not drink on duty and usually will ask for water or a soft drink if thirsty. Unless this is an overnight and you've seen the guys before (not sure about the former, clearly not in the case of the latter), I'd skip the liquor service and would not even have thought to ask. You might have something around that you like and would be willing to share, but even so, credible guys usually want something w/o a broken seal on it which makes beer the most practical alcoholic beverage.

Had an escort once who was staying at a hotel who asked me if I could bring some lube with me. I thought that was a bad sign. Sure enough, it was. Not a horrible experience, but, sure enough, the guy did not have his act together.

offer a nice glass of buttermilk/or Clamato....then water and see what happens..

Do people exist who actually drink buttermilk? (I've used it only for baking.)

The client usually pays for dinner, and the appointment fee (don’t get hung up on the advertised hourly fees) is whatever the two of you have agreed upon.

First, IF you're going schlepp booze in the luggage for multiple possibilities of drinks, schlepp miniatures...

Second, NYNY has some GREAT BARS - I am fond of Nine Fine Irishmen myself... they've got an excellent draft beer list, and carry premium hardy A for mixed drinks. You should consider allowing the bartenders to tend your bar. You could possibly find my last Vegas hire behind that bar.

Third, don't be afraid of getting out and about in Vegas. Taxis are abundant and cheap, some of the walkways have misting systems to shower you with a nice cooling mist. And Binion's Horseshoe in DTLV is the quietest casino to gamble in because it doesn't have all the electronic noise from the slots.

Finally, if you want an in-room refrigerator and need to order it from the front desk, tell them it's for storing medications - the price differential between a medical needs fridge and a party fridge opened my eyes! FYI, it's the same 4.4 CU FT fridge.

Desperado in answer to your question, if the escort wants me to pay his regularly hourly rate for the meal time that is a deal breaker for me. He has every right to do so and I have every right to expect a break and cancel or cease communication. Let's say I'm paying $200 an hour and expect to be with the escort for about 3 hours including meal time I am willing to pay $500 for the appointment but NOT $600.

Oh, you mean like for my insulin? (It doesn't really require refrigeration once opened, but most people think it does.) Thanks a lot for the bar recommendation. Good to know for meeting up. I did pick up some half pint plastic bottles of hard liquor. The suitcase is ample and has wheels, so the extra weigh will not be an inconvenience. Will save having to spend vacation time on practical errands.

Have not read all the posts. NYNY is at 3790 Las Vegas Blvd. There is a Walgreens at 3765 Las Vegas Blvd. I believe across the street. I suggest have what you like and water. Offer him some, He can take it or leave it.

I dunno, when a recipe calls for buttermilk I just use milk and a bit of vinegar as a cheat

All this talk is focused on the drinks, which I realize was the original question, but I can't imagine any pleasure from kissing a man with vodka, blue cheese, & olive breath. Not a flavor combo I want shared with me.

Well, the time worn solution is to have one yourself.

Being that I prefer "play" in the afternoon followed by a nap and shower, I offer a prospective "date" lunch and drinks at the restaurant of his choice; if he makes request of cocktails or dinner following our session, I am happy to oblige him if my calendar permits it. I inform any escort who is "new" to me that lunch is the "interview" and that he is not "on the clock" at that sitting; if he declines the venue, there are no "hard feelings" on my part. Of course, escorts with whom I have a long acquaintance are familiar with my routine. Thankfully, although old and worn, I yet have value and do not want for company at table if I desire it without opening my exchequer.
