I don't particularly love them but find that one or two small tattoos can be very sexy on a guy. Then I saw Sebastian Kross and well, I realized what the fuck do I know!10899360_1535119633429344_1234917865_n.jpg

If he were my boyfriend, I'd pay for the laser removal treatments and for the sutures to close his ear holes.

I've said I'm not fond of jewelry. I forgot to mention this also applies to women. I'm not a fan of the big junky, clunky jewelry look.

As usual, Gman and I agree. I usually like classic jewelry, especially delicate chains with pendants. But exceptions can be made, whether for elite men with tattoos or large, clunky necklaces from Harry Winston.

If you put that type of condition on a bf, I am pretty sure they wouldn't be a bf for much longer, or wouldn't be a bf from the start.

Considering the long odds of me ever finding a boyfriend, the point is fairly moot.

Tell you what, Steven, let's compromise. They can all keep all of their tattoos (ugh) if I can just de-pierce the middle one's nipple.

I like Alex Minsky's neck tattoos . . .

Handsome guy. Not a fan of any of his ink. In his case it's like scrawling grafitti across a beautiful work of art.

Clunky Harry Winston....OR....perhaps the Kitten would prefer the classic design of say a David Yurman.

I met a waiter at a restaurant who, at one time, had worked for Disney in Florida. He had a small G-clef on his neck, and said that it prevented him from getting further employment there.

Appropos of nothing, I knew a string Bass player who had an F-clef Tattooed on his shoulder.

One rehearsal he absolutely broke me up wearing a black t-shirt with large Uncial lettering

most of these pics being posted are of musclar guys. with or without the ink they'd still look fine

looks fade, ink fades and sags. a smart idea at 20 is a dumb idea at 50. I feel the same way about young guys who tan too much. they're just digging their own hole.

So I guess there is always the danger of a depiction of say the Battle of Gettysburg turning in later life into the Battle Of The Bulge. :p

Wouldn't they look decrepit with or without tattoos? The last time I checked nobody had proposed that tatooes were a solution to the problem of aging. The thing that makes them look pathetic is that there is an unspoken agreement in our culture that the aged are supposed to cover up and hide and apologize for being old. It's unseemly for the aged to glory in their bodies the way younger people do.

Well, it's pretty obvious that no one is going to change anyone's minds on this topic. Those of us who dislike tattoos will continue to dislike them. Those who think they are great or who have submitted to the tattoo needle themselves, will continue to view them positively. There is probably a third category of folks who are indifferent and can take or leave them.

IF one is the sort who finds tattoos sexy, one of the sexiest things there is a little margin of tattoo, peeking out from beneath the cuff of a starched dress shirt and a business suit.

The appeal of the hidden bad boy side. ;)

Exactly - it puts the imagination into motion.

And it makes me think 'thug', 'low-life', and 'uneducated' whether they actually are or not.

But then I don't fantasize about the motorcycle 'Rebel Without A Cause/Leader of the Pack' type guys. Give me a clean-cut looking -normal - but not too Ivy League or Wall Street type of guy.

I used to picture bad boys that way, and I'd often say that "I'm different from most girls. I don't like bad boys." But as I have learned, a guy who is in the other category you described use can be far more of a bad boy than any motorcycle dude.

Unfortunately, my knee-jerk response to tattoos is the same as yours. But if the turn-ons outweigh the turn-offs, then...

Over my years of hiring I've certainly met some rougher type guys-or at least some guys who seemed to have had a much rougher upbringing than I did-and my family was only solid middle middle class (possibly lower middle class when I was younger). Many of them were nice guys. I wasn't sorry I met them. They just weren't the guys I fantasized about. I'm fairly white bread-and that's what I used to look for mainly to hire.
