UNICORN... thanks for posting that "completely irrelevant" picture.. that is HOT... he must have gotten very excited at winning the trophy and the guy next to him is pretty "happy" too... I guess they are also teammates. Do you know what team they are on?

Henrik Rummel. American rower. London Olympics. He and his teammates were the bronze medalists in what is called--UNBELIEVABLY--the "coxless four" event.

 

He denied it was an erection ... so just imagine what that must be like.

One must leave aside the fact that the happy couple are the Prime Minister and his partner. The 'first couple' would be the Grand Duke and his partner, not the PM and his!

Hey Starbuck,

Thanks for that information, and it is hard to believe (pun intended) that photo does not show an erection... but I would have the same conclusion that you came to if indeed that was his normal, non-erect state !! Does anyone know if there are other pictures of his guy anywhere? He is quite a hottie ! It certainly can add to our fantasy life !!

Of course people who are both hot and powerful, like JFK and the Belgian PM, really rule the roost. LBJ famously blew up whenever people mentioned the late JFK's exploits.

I still think it's curious the (complete?) lack of open gay Royals in Europe.

 

It shows how out of touch they are, more evidence that they are relics of the past.

 

My prediction is that, within 50 years, most of the remaining European states that have monarchs will realize that a monarch and a royal family is a piece of sentimentality that they can no longer afford. The British monarchy will be the last to go.

Well, in the pre-social media age, he was able to convince a lot of people that he was a womanizer. Some say that he just took them out as arm candy but didn't do anything with them. And his wife? To some guys, any tall and skinny woman does the trick--especially if she has a pedigree. In any case, if you look at recent pictures of Mrs. Kissinger, she appears to have aged well.

yes, no doubt unfortunately.

 

The sad thing is that Bill Cosby could have gotten laid in that industry with many of them just by telling them: "let's go on a weekend to Palm Springs and I'll give you a part in my show..." but he was/is a sick individual who need to rape in order to feel good about himself. No "quid pro quo"...

I was in college when LBJ was president. Yes, he was always jealous of JFK, to the point of needlessly escalating the war in Vietnam because he thought Kennedy would have done the same. According to Robert Caro, Johnson did ok with women, although he was not in Kennedy's league.

Many other countries already have a "first man", the UK did during Thatcher's government... but Luxembourg might be the first one to have an openly gay Prime Minister with a husband who is the first man/dude.

 

The title should be corrected, it's just my opinion.

 

Congratulations are in order for the newly married Luxembourg Prime Minister Xavier Bettel and his longtime partner, architect Gauthier Destenay, whose Friday wedding made Bettel the first European Union leader to marry a same-sex partner.

Bettel is openly gay, and has stated that increasingly in Luxembourg "people do not consider the fact of whether someone is gay or not". Bettel is Luxembourg's first openly gay Prime Minister and the third openly gay head of government following Iceland's former Prime Minister Jóhanna Sigurðardóttir and Belgium's former Prime Minister Elio Di Rupo. As of October 2014, he is the only openly gay world leader.

 

Bettel has been in a partnership with Gauthier Destenay, since March 2010. In August 2014 Destenay proposed to Bettel, who accepted. Bettel and Destenay married on 15 May 2015; on 1 January 2015, same-sex marriage law reforms that passed in June 2014 came into effect.
