he can spell "discreet", so there's that.....

I'm glad to see someone else appreciates the vast difference in meaning between 'discrete' and 'discreet'. I also take note when an escort uses the correct spelling of the word discreet to convey 'inconspicuous, unobtrusive, low-key, etc. It's pretty rare that you see the correct word used.

I have a feeling he might also know the difference between the possessive pronoun (your) and the contraction of the personal pronoun (you) and the verb (are) 'you're', as in 'your ass is big' vs. 'you're a big ass'.

I'm a stickler, I admit it, and don't even get me started on punctuation, or more precisely, the current dearth of it.

and knowing when to use "your" vs. "you're" is SO easy to decide, too.....and don't get me started on "to" vs. "too".....

Meh I just practice mental editing. Sometimes im to lazy to use exact punctuation and proper grammar. As my college lit professor said. "Even the best selling authors do not use proper grammar and punctuation."

I like the way some of these threads go down rabbit warrens.

I have trouble with 'capitol'/'capital'...

As far as I can tell capitol is only in general usage in US English, where it can be used as the term for the legislative building. In Australia Parliament is on Capital Hill, but the hill had been called that since the city was founded, and it was only decided to build Parliament House there in about 1980. (There is a series of circle or partially circular roads centred on the hill, the innermost being Capital Circle, then State Circle, National Circuit, Dominion Circuit and finally Empire Circuit, a sort of political hierarchy of names.) In Australian usage capitol seems to be used only as the proper name for things like theatres - there is a Capitol Theatre about 2km from Parliament.

What about principal & principle?

~ Boomer ~

I was told a long time ago by a substitute teacher in elementary school-that the school princiPAL is your 'pal', so I've always remembered it that way.

And I've always been able to distinguish dessert/desert because a cafeteria lady in elementary school spelled it wrong on a sign-and then was embarrassed because she thought we were noticing it, and told us the mistake.

As long as we seem to have given up completely on the original topic (who, by the way, is beautiful) may I add that "who" vs. "whom" has always been a sticking point for me? Back to business, I certainly hope we hear a LOT more about Blake Bradford. There was a review about a Blake Bradford in Chicago a while back; he seemed slimmer. Is this actually Blake Bradford No II?

That's a great lesson on grammar....I suspect while you have a dick up your ass or your mouth is stuffed full of cock you're wondering....is he doing it to...too...or two me?...what a bunch of crap.....Some of the nicest..most caring people I have met are grammatically challenged...I often make mistakes and catch myself as fast I can....To judge someone that you are paying to screw...blow...piss or whatever to you is more than snobby...it's uncalled for...

I do cringe when I see poor grammar or hear regional gaffes. That has no reality on the quality of the person....http://grammarist.com/usage/discrete-discreet/

I haven't noticed anyone judging anybody negatively or determining the quality of a person for their grammar or spelling. The first mention of grammar/spelling was someone noticing that Blake used the correct form of a word that sounds exactly like another word of different meaning that is spelled very similarly. From what I have read (and just re-read) here the discussion has been about the grammar rules themselves, not about the persons who follow them, disregard them, or are ignorant of them.

About Blake, I've contacted him, viewed his private gallery, found out his in-call rate, asked him about his availability for a time a few days from now and am waiting to hear back from him if we can set up a definite meet-up.

People frequently get "just deserts" wrong, because it's pronounced like "dessert," but spelled like the Sahara or Mojave. My way to remember: "desert" in this context comes from the same root as (and shares a similar meaning with) "deserve."

That's a good one. I never thought about that. But what if I were a good boy and deserved strawberry shortcake? Would that be a 'just dessert'?

I saw him once before leaving NYC, was good looking and had a fun time. He was only a bottom before. Never connected again as he's quite the flake. Very hard to connect with sometimes and changed plans a lot.

He also is someone who does not need the money from escorting. He lived in the same building I did before and I can guarantee it's not cheap. I suspect his family is very well off. He works a regular day job as well.
