Well, I've mentioned earlier that L.A. provided me with some unique experiences during my 2 visits. It's not a bad place, it's just overrated. I meet guys all the time from other cities dreaming and running off to L.A., but surely that's not the only city in California to make it unless you're going for showbiz/talent.

That said, discussion Houston and questioning someone's ability to see 12 clients a day is kinda taking us off topic. Let's stay relevant here.

I know I'm new...but relevancy doesn't seem to be in the rules :p

Every thread goes down rabbit warrens that weren't relevant to the original topic. I would say that (1) it's hard to make a buck in LA, (2) I had 12 clients on one day there, and (3) I don't believe you could have that many clients, is not an unreasonable line of comments for the thread.

Well, let me just say I'll cut L.A. some slack. There's worse markets. The market that's really sucking dick...and getting fucked with no lube right now happens to be the one I am moving from in a couple weeks, which is Denver.

The escort market in Denver has evaporated into thin air. It just gets worse and worse every month. I've literally been coming home and living off of my touring city money for months, and anything I make here just goes to bare essentials. Most of the older clients are moving out of the state, and all these frat boy pot smokers and and younger families are moving in and there's just nothing here.

Atleast I can say with Los Angeles, Each time I went I did not make any less than 250 per client. Even if it was just 1 or 2. They actually pay money there, ditto with San Francisco. I never got talked into doing anything less than 200 bucks in California. In Denver, with the exception of the visiting clients and my local regulars, people will offer $100, then cancel. I'd be okay even I only found 1 client to pay 500, than to be in a city getting 10 calls all offering $50.

I knew ish was going downhill longtime ago and I should have moved back then. When new and regular clients start offering you $60, it's time to RUN. Run for your life because the imminent death of the market is not far off.

I do great in LA, but not so great in L.A.

Now then, onto a more pressing issue. How is it physically possible to see 12 people in one day in any city anywhere? That's phenomenal.

Well, some of those *could* have been multiple person sessions...just a thought...

Where are these people coming from (which sites)? I agree Denver isn't great but I have more crickets than lowballing there.

yes, but that's because you're famous and you're top 1% in looks! I'm sure mediocre escorts can't survive in LA.

That's assuming ALL clients go soley on looks, and for the majority, not the 1% you allude to.

That also assumes the same client who hires someone like Killian, who is in the purported 1%, won't hire a similar or completely opposite looking guy of a different height, age, or ethnicity. I can most definitely prove otherwise.

or rate...? Some charge less but aren't famous like Killian.

This is not a guide because I'm asking for it. But I'm just wondering if there is one. Been in LA for 10 days on Springs Break. For a city this size, I'm flabbergasted that there's not much business here. Wait....that actually sounds too hyped up. Correction. There's NO business here. I've fell in love with a wealthy entrepreneur here outside of business, but only because I made a decision that the results of this business needn't take away my ability to enjoy travel. And I found the man of my dreams due to it. But, business seems non existent here. I don't live here...yet, but there's a possibility. If I do, I'm retiring because I'll never want to be an Escort in a lousy market like LA.

So far, after advertising men4rent, rentboy, rentmen, adam, hourboy...only got 1 client. I've got tons of replies, but nobody ever gets around to actually meeting. Strangely, over the years I've met lots of clients from LA in other cities. But doesn't seem like it actually happens locally.

Anyone experienced similar? I'm just wondering how the F**k is there more escorts here than any other city in America, yet where's business???

I suspect you have to develop a market niche in terms of both location and service to compete in Los Angeles. Just my two cents from casual observation.
