The meteorologist on my local news stated without sarcasm, "at 18 degrees it isn't bad out there." Brrrrrr. No forecast for local temps to break freezing for the next seven days.

18 degrees and calm, with no snow or ice, is actually not that bad. It's fucking cold but at least it's ONLY cold. 18 degrees with blowing snow, ice, or blizzard conditions is a horse of a different color!

 

(Says the guy who lives near LA where it's currently 56 degrees and expected to be in the 70s tomorrow.)

Don't forget, if it's 18 and sunny, it's a lot more pleasant than 18 and cloudy.
