I watched the live retransmission on a big screen around 7pm CET. It was a spectacular show, although many of the tubes were several years old. I loved Lenny Kravitz's appearance too.

I thought Katy was blown off the stage by Lenny Kravitz and Missy Elliot.

 

Let this be a lesson...never invite artists with more talented than you to perform during your Super Bowl Show.

 

She didn't even lip sync her own songs well.

I really didn't think much of the performance myself. Lenny Kravitz and Missy Elliot were great. I felt if I were female and 13, it would have been made for me!

It wasn't bad, it's just that in that venue, you really need hit it out of the park, and that she didn't do.

I've been thinking about the evolution of things like the super bowl entertainment. Plus, the and opening and closing ceremonies of the Olympics. I believe I have fallen into thinking each of these venues need to be better than the last. Rather than just enjoying the moment of each performance and their talents, I want to see the grand extras. Katy did indeed do a good job. I also think Beyonce could make me at least think about "turning me back."
