So,

I'm looking to get into massages. But I have a basic question I'm sure you veterans can answer.

Being a oral guy, it's hard for me to get into anything leading to a happy ending, without a bit of that part. Have you ever heard/experienced a masseuse allowing a bit of that for a bit of extra payment? Or is that saved for a escort who massages?

For me I need to make out, give a BJ etc, to get me going. Someone pulling at me during the ending, I fear won't lead to release.

Any thoughts?

If you really mean masseuse, you may be in the wrong forum! ;-) Masseuse is the female term. Men are masseurs.

Masseurs vary widely in what they will do, even "custom" or "erotic" advertisers. You should also know that many masseurs advertise custom/erotic, and are NOT custom/erotic at all. They do that just to get your business. If oral is that important to you, you should ask in advance. I have found that some excellent masseurs will NOT allow oral, either to give or receive. I have also found that many will receive oral, but will NOT give oral. I have seen masseurs who will do oral one day, and a month later will not. It's not a deal-breaker for me, but if it is for you, you need to ask before committing yourself. And if you are new at this, know that there are MANY scams in this business. There are lots of honest, hard-working masseurs who are great guys. But there are many whose pictures are stolen from someone else, whose reviews are fake (notice how many use the same broken English), and whose services are not as advertised.

You will win some and lose some. But you will have fun most of the time!

I really appreciate Jocklooking's question.

I've hired a few masseur's, but still find the experience a bit confusing (compared to hiring escorts, which is pretty straightforward). Is normal protocol to directly ask in advance about including kissing or oral? This feels awkward to me and I've never done it (or been asked to do so by a masseur - whereas escorts will often ask, "What do you get into?" which is then easy to answer), but maybe I'm just not aware of what's considered normal, acceptable communication in the massage arena.

Then, when I'm getting the erotic massage, I'm not sure if I should ask ("hey, would you mind if I suck you off?") or if I should just try to do it (which seems like it would be embarrassing if the masseur was uncomfortable and had to ask you to stop)? Sometimes the masseur has physically engaged with me and it has led to kissing and oral and has been great. But others times, at the end of the massage, I feel like it could have gone much further but didn't because I was too embarassed to directly ask or take aggressive action.

Any advice from people who have a process that yields success would be appreciated!

I've found that it depends upon the chemistry between the client and the masseur; it seems to me when the masseur's cock is rubbing up against your ear and cheek, that's an invitation to give a bit of oral; I had a massage a few weeks ago from a guy I have been seeing now for almost 2 years, and for the first time he asked if he might give me a blow job; it was so sweet, and of course I said yes!!!

I think this is it exactly. And, I suspect that many of the masseurs wouldn't commit to oral if you asked them in advance.

In some cases, they've chosen to be masseurs rather than escorts because they don't feel comfortable having a sexual encounter with just anyone. I think there are also instances where the masseurs take their profession very seriously, and it is a little insulting that their clients expect sex with a massage. They might ask "Do expect sex from your hair stylist? No? Then why would you expect it from your masseur?"

Same here. I can be oblivious when it comes to this. I find it hard for me to initiate what I want from a masseur. I can also be clueless when it comes to nonverbal signals ie., masseur's dick rubbing in my hands.

I have to agree with the comments that it often depends on the chemistry between the client and masseur. It has also been my experience that things often progress the more one sees the same masseur and he and you develop a mutual trust that only comes from repeat visits. However, some ads are quite explicit about what one might expect, so if you want certainty, you might have to refine your search. I almost always enjoy a massage, whether strictly therapeutic or quite erotic. So enjoy the experience.

My hairstylist doesn't advertise "erotic."

I'm in the same boat. I usually hire a masseur because I want a good massage, but a little extra is usually welcome. Any advice (or recommendations on the west coast) is appreciated.

Just had an encounter with masseur that turned out to be "interactive". A therapeutic session turned into some oral after my hand touched his crotch. The totally therapeutic guys will put your hand back on the table. This guy didn't. Well, that is a clue to me. So some nice interaction occurred as part of the massage. Especially when his crotch was rubbing against the cradle on my head.

Amazing how much meaning is communicated in touch.
