Photosession tomorrow - Advice please

I am meeting a very good friend in Leeds tomorrow, he's a professional photographer, as well many other things. I've packed about 10 nice shirts, hot jeans, a dozen thongs and jocks. What sort of pics would appeal more. We've a hotel suite booked at a very plush five star for the night so full advantage will be made of it exceptional location

 

Do plush staircase pics, plush shower pics appeal, nice clothes, city outdoor settings. Any advice please

Of course it would be interesting to hear our clients' opinion but all I can share is my own.

 

As a photographer and as an escort I would recommend to stay away from busy backgrounds that will detract from the subject of the picture: You. Great hotels are amazing places to have pictures taken because they offer ample opportunities for clean, polished and neutral backgrounds.

 

For this kind of product what tends to work best is plain non-reflective backgrounds, flattering light, reflected or diffused is better than direct, comfortable poses, smoothed out, perfectly fitting clothes (No fabric bunching up, underwear has to be flattering and the right size... and perfectly clean) and next to no props.

 

What matters most is that you understand your product well and that you let us see your product clearly with your finished pictures. Make sure your write up is visually mimicked by your pictures and that both are conveying the same message

 

It wouldn't hurt to take a picture Safari checking out escort ads. You might not learn what will work for you, but you will definitely learn what doesn't: kitchen shots, busy living rooms, messy bedrooms, gilded palatial environments where the main focus goes to the environment, not you, artsy shots (At least avoid including more than one artsy shot in your ad), other people, animals (An animal will always steal the attention from a human because they are fully there, no tension, no pretension) ill-fitting clothes, especially if it's underwear- underwear should always look full, avoid heavy patterned fabrics, no hard contrast unless you are using it to enhance muscle definition, no direct lighting, no colourful clothes that will detract from your colouring or that will get attention away from you.

 

A common mistake I see especially in escort ads is pictures in red velvet and gold environments or with the escort holding expensive things like jewelry, champagne, reclining on a very expensive car, laying down on a reclining first class airplane bed, etc. Quality and attention to detail (What some people like to describe as being classy) is clearly and incontestably conveyed when you put forth pictures of great quality, when it is clear that you like to take care of the smallest detail, where you are the most polished element in the picture. A high quality service is best suggested through a carefully thought out write up and a professional and consistently warm demeanour during the set up process and also through a consistently warm and respectful public image.

Right after I posted my response I remembered the funniest website that I saw a while ago and after a couple minutes with my friend google I finally found it!

 

Of course I don't think you would be at risk of incurring in these guys' mistakes but this website perfectly exemplifies the common mistakes that I mentioned. These are not escort profiles, just hook up pictures, but I think we have all seen escort ads that look like this.

From a clients perspective I will say that I like an escort who has pictures taken in an environment and in situations that I might take him to, including the bedroom of course. Seeing pictures of you in a suit, in a hotel lobby, at the table of a restaurant for example.

 

The best example of this would be some of the photographs that Chris Eisenhower has on his website. Some are taken in business attire, partially removed, and where the photo is tightly cropped. There is one of just his lower face and you see that he is in a suit and tie, and one where he is at the bathroom sink with just a shirt and tie on. I think Those work well for him, and might work for you also.

Yes this is why we've chosen a five star luxury hotel. The hotel is an English Gentleman's hotel. It's not a five star modern concrete box with a bit of art. It has a swirling staircase and swags and tails on the sash windows. Thought already went into the venue.

Most importantly RELAX. Get into your sexy zone and own the camera, you should feel your most confident on this day. Try not to stress to much about location/props and wardrobe or else it will start showing in your face. Also make sure you check the photos as your going along to make sure your producing the shoots you need to get.
