Which Beatle, if any, would you have wanted to sleep with?

Ringo has the big nose( I'm always looking for size indicators.), but I like masculine, rugged looking men. I think George looked a little rough around the edges. He get's my vote.

Rick,

You know the Beatles better than that. You have to play the CD backwards, look at the cover in the mirror, smoke a lot of pot...and then you start seeing cock and ass...or you think you do!

Actually, during the multi-hour recording sessions for this album Yoko Ono was very much present, as can be seen on the video of this session, originally intended to be released as a documentary film.

Probably the worst Beatles album (of course the Beatles worst is still better than the best of a lot of successful groups), as the only one who was gungho on doing it was Paul. As such, he was very controlling and demanding, driving George to quit during the session and having to be begged into returning to finish the fiasco.

VA, you're letting me down here. :o No comments? }(

>Probably the worst Beatles album

Well, I never did have good taste. :p This is one of my favorite albums and I love every song (then again, I also have every Yoko album, digitally remastered on CD). They sound amazing with the new remastering; it's a bit jarring at first, since we're so accustomed to hearing, for example, The Long and Winding Road with strings and choir. Luckily, my neighbors are hard of hearing because I'm blasting it.

What's pot? :) Is that one of "them thar mind altering thingys"? :o

The one and only time I saw the Beatles was their first concert in America, at the old Washington Colesium back in December 1962. One of the advantages of having older siblings, I guess. All I know is that I developed one hell of a big pre-teen crush on George! :)

Hey, Rick, to paraphrase StarKist "clients aren't looking for escorts

with good taste, they're looking for escorts that taste good"! :p

Well, I think it is a good album also, just the worst one the Beatles ever put out, which as I said, is still much better than the best albums of many other groups. IMO, the best Beatles album is the White Album, followed by Sgt.Peppers, followed by Rubber Soul.

Didn't Double White have a nude pic of John Lennon? I don't think it showed much, but as a little tyke going through my parents' album collection, I remember this was quite a find. Don't know if the CD has this same photo.

Actually it was John Lennon and Yoko Ono's Two Virgins record that had a frontal nude pic of the two of them on the front and a rearview nude photo of them on the back.

A little trivia about Let It Be it was the last Beatles record released though the second last recorded.

I had a good friend who was well trained in Beatles lore. Unforunately he passed of AIDS some years back. But I fondly remember his unwaivering obsession, and can recall him showing me photos of the Beatles when they were the "Silver Beatles". An incarnation well before their worldly fame. At that time they had a different drummer...don't recall his name, but he was GORGEOUS! Apparently he died in a car accident, and was replaced by Ringo. Beatles fans, am I getting this right?

Anyway, HE is the Beatle I would've most liked to see nekkid!

Trix no Beatle died in a car accident. The Beatle you are referring to is Pete best who became a baker :). He was ousted from the fab four for reasons that can be debate forever. In any event that is when Ringo entered the picture.

The car accident was a publicity stunt where Paul was supposed to have died in a car accident and was replaced by a look-a-like named Billy Shears who happened to have won a Pual look-a-like contest in Detroit. Throughout 3 albus there are all these little clues that Paul is dead ... including the very end of Strawberry Fields Forever where John mumbles at the end, "I buried Paul" or as he claims he is saying "Cranbury Sauce" or as others claim he is saying "I'm veru sore." It is all to beautiful.

VaHawk Let It Be was the second last recorded and the last released. Abbey Road was the last Bealtes album recorded and the second last released ... so you're correct my pal :).

There are so many great books and films around about the Beatles and their solo careers. Imagine,John Lennon is a documentary style film that is amazing. It can be rented at most video/DVD shops. I highly recommended it.

Since someone mentioned Bealtes trivia here is one for you all. If you have the original Beatles'albums released on their Apple Records pull them out and place them in order of release. You will notice that the label is an apple ... with each release the apple goes from bright green (not ripe) to dark red (too ripe). What a well thought our concept :). AND if you pull out Imagine (John Lennon's solo release on Apple) you'll notice that the label is a rotten apple core with pic of Lennon and Ono superimposed in it :). Now you all know I must have too much time on my hands in the studio :7

I could go on and on and on as you all can tell :).

I have a concert ticket stub from the Beatles Shea Stadium concert dated Aug. 23, 1966. It cost $5.75 to go to the concert! Even kids could afford to go then. It's in perfect condition, sort of... it's ripped down the middle of Paul's face. I wonder if it's worth anything?

It's worth $82.66! I just checked for you, and that's what the same stub just went for on eBay 3 days ago.

Wow! How cool is that? Thanks Rick. Now, what do I do with it? Put it back in my desk, sell it or offer it as a tip to some escort who likes the Beatles. Hmmmmmmmm.

I wonder what else I have laying around here?

You can count me as another Yoko fan. I have more of Yoko's music than I have music by John, George, or Ringo as solo artists.
