It looks like not everyone is ready for Jessie Colter‘s hotness. The gay porn star went to the Kentucky Kingdom water park today and wore his red brief trunks. There is no doubt that Jessie looks good in swimwear, but according to the water park and an LMPD officer he was probably looking a little bit too hot.

 

According to Jessie, he was threatened with arrest and being called a “queer” by an LMPD officer. “He informed me that several Public Safety Officers from the park had warned [me], which is 100% false”, says Jessie. It was actually one of the PSO’s who earlier said that it was okay to wear the brief trunks.

 

The police officer asked Jessie to leave the park or face arrest. Jessie, who is not amused, has chosen to leave the park. He hasn’t filed an official complaint yet, as he believes it’s more important to get the word out first.

 

The website of the Kentucky Kingdom water park mentions a dress code on their FAQ page. It says the water park reserves the right to determine whether a guest is dressed inappropriately, but is a red speedo really that inappropriate when you are visiting a water park?

 

Guests must wear shirts and shoes at all times while at Kentucky Kingdom, except when inside the Hurricane Bay water park. Proper swimming attire is required at Hurricane Bay. For their own safety, guests may not swim in cut-offs or other clothing with rivets, zippers, or buckles. Kentucky Kingdom is a family-friendly theme park and reserves the right to determine whether a guest’s attire is appropriate.

 

We have asked the water park for a comment, but we have not yet received a response at the time of publishing.

UPDATE [July 10th, 2014] – The guys from the local news site Louisville.com picked up the story earlier today and they have received a phone call from someone from the water park. Kentucky Kingdom has promised to release a statement tomorrow.

 

UPDATE [July 11th, 2014] – It has been 4PM (local Louisville, KY time) and so far, we haven’t heard back from Kentucky Kingdom. They probably have been busy with hundreds of upset women, who started to complain after the park told a nursing mom to feed her baby in private. This violates the Kentucky state law, which says that nursing women are allowed to feed their kids everywhere.

 

While all of those women were able to complain and share their concerns on the park’s Facebook page, there have been stories of people complaining about the “speedo matter” who were blocked and got their message deleted.

 

In the meantime, more local news sources are picking up this story. The water park has today revised its breastfeeding policy and hopefully some sort of statement, regarding Jessie being kicked out of the park and being called a ‘queer’ by a police officer, will follow soon.

Probably the police involved were just jealous that they did not look that good in a speedo... we certainly have some prudish people in this country !!! And some police and law enforcement folks are s the very worst. They need some sensitivity training... but then what can we expect in Kentucky... with apologies to our great posters here from Kentucky.

I couldn't find much by way of follow-up, except these statements on the 14th:

 

A Louisville Metro Police spokeswoman said on Friday the department is aware of the allegations but has not received a formal complaint. Police spokeswoman Carey Klain said police made no runs to Kentucky Kingdom on the afternoon of July 7, and an officer working at the park then would be in a "secondary employment capacity" off the clock for LMPD. Police do not maintain hourly records for when officers are working on behalf of others.

 

Klain said LMPD officers working at Kentucky Kingdom are paid directly by the park, but the department's professional standards unit investigates allegations against officers regardless of whether an incident happened on or off duty.

 

Colter said in a released statement that Kentucky Kingdom staff agreed to let him remain in the park if he changed clothes. Then the officer escorted him across the park to the changing area. When he turned to enter the changing room, Colter alleges the Metro Police officer said, "You think because you’re queer you can get away with it" after telling him to leave the park.

 

On Friday, Kentucky Kingdom spokesman John Mulcahy said numerous guests told their security Colter’s attire was inappropriate.

 

"That’s what brought it to the park’s attention," he said.

 

"What I do know in doing research is Jessie allegedly was wearing a Speedo, same as one would wear in the Olympics, which is acceptable," said Mulcahy. "What I don't know is if guests were complaining about it, how he was wearing it at the time that they complained. Was he fashioning it to look more like a male thong? You know, for my first year in high school more years ago than I care to mention we were required to provide our prescribed gym attire (gray shorts, white t-shirts) and a SPEEDO SWIMSUIT for swim class.

Some people and places accept these changes, whereas others are more reluctant or slow to accept them. Everyone at his own pace ...

 

In Germany public baths (saunas) are mixed and everyone is naked. Don't look for anything sexual in that regard.

If they do not want people to wear speedos, then they could have simply forbade thongs and speedos. I don't think they can allow speedos but then discriminate on the basis that you have too big and beautiful of an ass or too large a cock. It would be like allowing bikinis but not allowing a woman with an ample bosom. Poor Jess, God was just too good to you.

A few years ago someone pointed out to me that in the USA men wear large shorts at the pool/beach and since that day I always pay attention what kind of swimwear others wear around me. Depending on the place, I'm always the only one (or one of the very few) wearing speedos.

 

It's funny, because until then I never ever paid attention to this!

It's dislike. It's one thing to see an inshape guy wearing a speedo- another thing for an out of shape guy. In general overweight woman in America do not wear skimpy bikinis. Yes, I know some do. But not everywhere is New Jersey. ;)

 

As for me, I'd look terrible. My bottom and gut are waaaayyy too big and my package too small. I even usually wear a t-shirt to hide my gut when swimming also.

 

And why would I want to reveal to the world how underendowed I am? It's sad enough that you can't even tell there is something there by looking at the crotch of my blue jeans. Besides as when I sleep, while swimming I'd prefer something loose fitting. It would be one thing if I were competing. But I'm not- I'm there for comfort. You normal to above normally sized guys like Steven or Jesse who have big bulges to show are so lucky.
