Here is one of many versions of this song: http://www.people.com/article/elaine-stritch-dies?icid=maing-grid7%7Caim%7Cdl3%7Csec1_lnk3%26pLid%3D503218 Everybody Rise Rise Rise Rise

Sorry to read of the passing of a true Broadway legend. Like Hermoine Gingold, she had one of those voices when she interpreted a song that, while never beautiful, made each performance so much more than just about singing, "Ladies Who Lunch" being just one in a long line of perfect interpretations!

I first heard Elaine Stritch sing "Ladies Who Lunch" on a TV special while in high school. I was immediately captivated by the song and her interpretation of it. "Company" has been one of my favorite musicals ever since and not having had the opportunity to see Elaine Stritch perform in it is one of my few regrets. RIP, Elaine.
