There are some posters whose posts are almost always worth the read. My top three current posters are:

Juan in Vancouver (lengthy but strong and well thought out---the posts, though I bet the sex is lengthy and strong and more spontaneous)

Unicorn (though I frequently disagree with his written postings they are usually positive in approach and well considered and I appreciate the time and efforts put into his gallery posting)

The third perhaps belongs in the second category

Jackhammer91406 Friday Funnies are usually good for laugh or a groan. It has been about 4 weeks since your last post, I hope you are just taking a well deserved vacation at the Sheckey Green Museum of Bad Jokes and Pun-ishment.

Three posters I wish would return or I wish would be allowed to return

Rick Munroe (opinionated and at times laugh out loud funny and frequently hilariously offbeat. While I shared many of his poitical views, they did occasionally cross over the strident side)

LBT Not sure why he took a break but his posts were refreshingly innocent. He should have used the screen name Peter Pan because he made me want to clap and believe in fairies

Tristan Baldwin Lets face it with a body that hot and a face that handsome you really do not have to care what he wrote, just hope that he changed his very hot icon to an even hotter one.

I am requesting that responses to this thread should be positive and life affirming. If you need to bitch, bitch somewhere else please.

I always think Juan Vancouver's posts are thoughtful and insightful.

I also enjoy Steven Draker's posts.

Those are the two that come to mind right off the bat.

I don't have a favorite poster.

Well said. I am continually surprised by how well-informed people are on this forum. And many times, someone whom I had not noticed much will surprise me with a wonderful post.

I enjoy the variety of posts that are expressed on the Forum, but my favorite 3 for very different reasons are

Juan Vancouver

Steven Draker

Chris Eisenhower

So informative plus they're all HOT GUYS!

I agree with you that each poster here has the ability to surprise with a great posting. This thread really is asking for the poster who does not surprise you with a great post but rather, who reliably posts something worthwhile.

But, there are dozens and dozens of people here who reliably post something worthwhile. If you give me fifteen minutes, I could name fifty to seventy people.

Agreed. Please, let's not start ranking the value of postings to this site!

Sometimes I wish there was a 'like' button, as there is on FaceBook. It's an easy way to express thanks to a poster for taking the time so say something fun, interesting or useful.

Way back in the early days of this site there was a feature to allow voting up or voting down a particular thread or post. Similar to the "like" feature also previously mentioned. The end result was an unmitigated disaster. Various cliques would gang up like the Jets and Sharks over rankings. The feature was quickly removed.

I think that purplekow knows that trying to make a list of favorite posters is almost dynamite laden from the start, so one wonders why. I like so many of the posters here, from Unicorn to Juan Vancouver to WilliamM, to Cash4trash to foxy to Cooper to Steven Draker and on and on. I could list dozens. So why try to discern a list? Only to find out which list you are on, purplekow?

Don't be disingenuous, BosGuy. This was not a positive post to begin with. It was an attempt to plug a banned poster at a minimum, and then set others upon each other as to who should be on the list. The whole thing is inclined to be a disaster.

Sorry for your opinion of the thread and me. I truly thought it was an interesting topic which could be positive and enjoyable and was completely unaware of its undercurrent. So much for fun, entertaining, informative threads on the Forum any longer, The 3 gentlemen I mentioned have been favorites of MINE for a long time and I was simply giving them credit from ME. Whatever else is going on, I could care less.

Nasty, deceitful old queen. Exactly what I expected. Another thread destroyed by whoever the heck you REALLY are. I thought McLean was a first class place to reside. How did you get in?

I didn't know that. Interesting.

Yeah, I think it lasted about a week or two. Some folks really went off the deep end, not unlike parts of this thread. ;)

I will assume the six you selected were the first to come to mind and perhaps are favorites of your. Nothing sinister about my intent. Evil sees evil everywhere. Certainly one is able to skip this thread and should Daddy see fit to close it, he has my blessing, as I have given my list, which does not expand to dozens more. Though there are many other excellent posters, the ones I mentioned, for me, have a bit more pizzazz.

It you note, there is a place at the top of this page which indicates that you may "Rate this Thread" I only noticed it recently and I am not even sure the one rating I gave was noted anywhere.
