If you have an American Express Gold Card, Platinum Card®, Centurion® Card, or Corporate Platinum Card, can you please tell me the 10-digit customer service phone number that's located on the back of the card? You can post it here or email me at [email protected]. Thanks!

Rick, you and I seem to be agreeing more and more these days. Have I slipped into an alternate universe without noticing?

It has always been a puzzle to me WHY the customer service number(and AMEX is guilty of this)Are unreadable because of the card number being stamped out OVER the phone number!?!

One of my pet peeves(I have a few doncha know)

And, when I pulled of the activation sticker, the card was covered with gunk. And, when I signed the card, the signature rubbed off.

I called AmEx today and they expect me to rub down the card with cooking oil and sign with a felt tipped pen. I don't have on of those pens!!!!

What a fucked up outfit. They KNEW that the cards were faulty when they sent them out but they still sent them.

I guess the corporate motto is "Fuck the cardholder."x( x( x( x(

Of course it is at AMEX. But the customers keep bending over and shaking their asses temptingly at them... I've never understand why people pay a yearly fee for the privilege of carrying a card that's accepted by far fewer places, costs venders more then other cards when you use it, and must be paid off every month!

Get a Visa and pay it off every month, almost no interest, no yearly payment, greater acceptance, and in an emergency you don't *have* to pay it off. But Amex has no limit you say? BS! There's a limit, they just will not tell you what it is! When you get close to it you have to call them from the store and beg. How's that an improvement?
