Tuesday, Oct. 14th get together, it will be at Numbers and starts around 7:30 (and goes 'till at least 10:30). All are welcome to join, anytime in the evening. It's just a fun, laid-back thing, I don't think that anybody who's come hasn't enjoyed it.

 

Numbers is at 8741 Santa Monica BLVD, above the Coffee Bean in West Hollywood. Parking is usually pretty easy at the public lot across from the magazine stand on the west side of the building, bring quarters. People start gathering outside around 7 (usually the only gathering of more then 3 at the outside tables), we wander inside about 8 and SIT AT THE LONG TABLE IN BACK , other side of the wall from the restrooms, across from the windows, the only long table in the place... Don't be shy, jump in! Tony, the owner, knows the name Hooville if you have to make sure...

 

There will also be an October meeting on the usual last Thursday (10-30), probably at Numbers. It'll have a "those lucky bastards down in Brazil" theme! }(

I am excited that we are having an extra meeting again this month, since I am one of "those lucky bastids" that will be in RIO for the regular meeting.

Just want to add that I have heard that some local escorts are afraid to attend because of Number's reputation as an up scale hustler place. Just a reminder that Aaron Westin and Dax kelly stopped by once, and I don't think their reputation was destroyed. Well, I can't imagine that having a free dinner with some nice guys in a pleasant environment can be a bad thing simply because someone might recognize you. I guess the idea being that someone might "infer" that you can be had as a cheap pickup..I just want to say regarding that issue, As a professional, you charge what you charge for your services, and if you are seen with some well off gentlemen in a civil environment, laughing and enjoying yourself and the company...well, can that be a bad thing?

Besides, who knows, you might even like one of us.

I wouldn't think she'd need to hire, maybe getting a touch old, but still...

 

But that is one of the strange things about Numbers. Sometimes there's a good selection of working guys, sometimes there are only one or two, but whatever is going on they aren't outgoing at all. A couple of meetings ago the place was particularly active, lots of hot guys in the uniform (tank top/muscle shirt...), after it wound down late in the evening just three or four of us sat outside as close to where they were gathering as possible, made eye contact, and just one (high as a kite) stopped by to talk to us. Hell, one or two of us may well have been happy to hire some of the eye candy, which was the best I've yet seen at Numbers that night. But they stayed tightly grouped together with all the other working guys, apparently oblivious to what one would think was the reason they went to Numbers in the first place... It never occurred to me though that some may be there with the intention of being hired by a woman, as you don't see more then one or two (if that) there very often...

 

So it is a pretty tame place, the entrance is discrete, and once you're upstairs anybody that sees you is *also at Numbers*, after all, so what harm can it really do? I think it's far more private and discrete then having a conversation that may wander through hiring escorts, sex tourism, etc, in *any other* restaurant, even in WeHo.
