Following years of increasingly erotic and explicit advertisements that could be filed somewhere between NSFW and XXX, underwear retailer Andrew Christian has gone all in and basically released a full-on, way-more-than softcore gay porn video featuring yet another bareback porn star.

 

The latest clip, “View From The Top”, isn’t even pretending to be an advertisement for something. It’s so raunchy and sex-fueled that it literally had to be shot through beer googles.

Seems pretty consistent with Andrew Christian's brand to me. My only issue with it was the inclusion of Willam of Ru Paul Drag Race "fame."

Andrew Christian's videos are typically available to members of the company's email list as well as on the web site. I've never seen them on television.

 

In answer to the original question Steven posed, I don't think it is too explicit, but I'm also not a huge fan.

It seems to appeal to the target audience for AC. I did like the underwear with the scoop which showed a bit of the top of the butt crack. Too much going on for me. I would just get focused in on how hot a guy looked in the underwear and we were off to someone who did not do as much for me, losing some of the appeal of the previous guy. So from that point of view, I probably did not see enough I liked to buy a pair for a lover, and it did not get me high enough to buy a pair for myself.

This is straight up the middle (pun intended) Andrew Christian. Many of the videos (I wouldn't call them ads, as they don't really run anywhere beyond the website) and more explicit than this. Meh.

I don't normally think of myself as a prude but I found it a turn-off and felt dirty for having watched it. There was nothing there that appealed to me in any way, shape or form. The underwear itself is ok (I have some, believe it or not!) but the ad - yech. I didn't see anything that looked remotely masculine. Pass.
