Should a plastic surgeon do any surgery requested by a client as long as the client can pay for it? Or, do you think some plastic surgeons turn down requests they think are too extreme?

Wow. Where does this kid get all the money for this?

The Filipino Superman, 35 years old Herbert Chavez, says:

"I am such a good customer of my surgeon, Tito Garcia, he does all the work for free as part of a part-exchange deal."

"I help publicise his practice in return."

Hydrogel, the stuff Mr Garcia says his surgeon has been using to plump his face, is a cheap and nasty filler not approved for use in the US/Canada. It is a synthetic substance that can harden in the body and lead to vein thrombosis, chronic infection, necrosis and other awful complications a few years down the road. Not a good look.

I got through about 1 minute of the video, this type of surgery is pure sickness.

Exactly...when I heard him say that, I just cringed.

I might have slipped him a little. http://www.boytoy.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif

Honestly, though, it's no skin off my ass if that's what he wants to do. It seems to make him happy. If the question is whether it should make him happy, who am I to say? If he needs my opinion, he knows where to find me.

I will say he seems to know how to set a goal and follow through. And he could look a lot worse. http://www.boytoy.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/unsure.png

Well, if you had listened to some of the members of this august forum, you wouldn't have made that mistake, would you?

Well that's it in a nutshell...I feel about the same way, and I think he actually looks pretty damn good, minus the bright blue contacts of course, and I do hope that there is no lasting affects from the Hydorgel.

AND....thanks for the images. They were as hilarious as ever. ;)

That just looks painful, and really very sad....but still, a little funny. Ya gotta laugh at something like that.

Dear "bigvalboy",

I would like to thank you for being so "generous" in sharing with us your emotional variations and swings by-the-hour, however your opinion and approval is not needed on every post made in this thread. Sometimes I have to wonder about your thought process ...

Bruce Jenner is clearly a very sick man, mentally, and I just hope that someone in that family recognizes that and gets him the help he should have.

I agree that he looks really good. He just looks like a better version of himself, not like a strange version of Christopher Reeve. Whatever "hydrogel" is, it sounds kind of scary.

Yeah, the fake contacts have got to go.

There's a guy I found on Myspace years ago, amazing resemblance to Superman, very much into cosplay (costume play), he goes by "Monkey of Steel". He seems to enjoy making the outfits pretty revealing....

Not to hijack an already interesting thread, but how do those colored contacts work? Is the wearer looking through a colored lens? Or is there a clear center to see through?

I used to think that you could darken your eye color with these lenses, but not lighten it. Though the OP's video shows what I assumed to be a brown-eyed guy turning his eyes cornflower blue.

Any info appreciated. I'm going for a particular look and I'm trying to find out what's possible. http://www.boytoy.com/forums/public/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif

I haven't a clue as to how they work, however....

I had a co-worker once who tried white contact lens..

It wasn't a good look for her....;)
