Question about reviewer handles

I was reading today's reviews and noticed that for Roman the reviewer was "DougLA". That's my handle and I didn't write the review. Is it possible for two people to have the same handle? Thanks. (Hope this was the right place to post this question.)

the handles here in the forum and in the reviews can be different (or the same) for the same person....they aren't linked

Nothing about reviews or the review site (or reviewers) is connected to the message center except ownership. They even have different URLs.
