Alas, I didn't make it to the 'afterparty' Sunday at the bars. I think I came down with Valley Fever from those dry, dusty Santa Ana winds..and started feeling it last night and just wanted to go to bed. Today it's even worse...but glad I was able to make it thru the weekend!

Wayne and I had an amazing time this past weekend. I didn't think last year's could be topped (so to speak) but I was wrong. It was wonderful seeing so many great people we only get to see once a year (I wish it were more often!) and meeting so many new people as well, like Alec and Ryan, who are not only drop-dead gorgeous with stunning bodies, but also two of the nicest, sweetest guys I've ever met, and Coach, who treated me to a brief yet amazing massage in the jacuzzi. (I will be scheduling a follow-up very soon!) And of course, Bosguy, who I enjoyed spending time with, and look forward to seeing again.

 

I'm always amazed at how much is packed into such a relatively short time frame. We didn't get there until Saturday, and we still had the marvelous dinner at Trio, the hilarious Facts of Life show, and the hot, hot, hot meet-and-greet at Helios that stretched well into the wee small hours. Then it was right back into the festivities on Sunday, starting with the pool party at Oliver's, which was truly a highlight of the weekend. So much delicious food, so much wonderful conversation, and so many scantily-clad (or not clad at all) hot men! We were in heaven. The dinner at Tropicale was so much fun, and then, as if all that weren't enough, we got to end our magical weekend with three-plus hours of karaoke at Spurline, where we were serenaded by Ace, Chris and Jason. I love you guys, but you shouldn't get to be that hot AND have so much musical talent. It's just not fair to the rest of us. And I have to give a special shout-out to the beefy, handsome muscle daddy who was there that night, the one who took his shirt off every time he sang. I only wish he had sung more often. What a body!

 

My apologies to the many sweet, beautiful men I haven't mentioned by name in this post. Each of you, in your own way, helped make this one of the best weekends Wayne and I have ever had, and one that we'll be talking about for a long, long time. We love you all, see you next year!
