I'm trying to pull my first review together. There are some important generalities that are very important to me that I need to pass on. This is from a first timers experience. Beyond the fun, sex, lust, which is mind blowing, there is more. I spent a lifetime thinking I was going to die keeping the person I really was, just tucked away from day to day. Rand, your post really touched me; I believe you are right on target about reaching the point in life and saying "I've paid my dues, done everything I was supposed to do, and now it's time for me." I think at mid-life, we realize that our lives will not last forever, and if we want to live our own life, we better get going! All of what Rand says as well as what Just Sayin' has mentioned is spot on. I think we (both clients and escorts) belong to an incredible club which as no membership fees or dues. It runs on our goodness and readiness to help others, not just with sex but with all of the other threads to which we have access. Of course, sex IS the main thrust, but Daddy, this site, and this forum allow us to expand responsibly. But wow, A DC get together with clients and escorts, the same in Palm Springs! Clients from everywhere, escorts from everywhere. Everyone wants to meet everyone! For what this is all about, that's unheard of! Participation by the most wonderful escorts which eases the apprehension of the clients, allows us to fit in too.

 

Safety, above all, is stressed - not just safe sex but all of the threads re: safety in various situations; how to avoid hotel room disasters, what to do about various clients and/or escorts who go off the deep end, etc. Many other threads, many other subjects, probably anything and everything you want to know about life is contained somewhere in this forum.

 

Encouragement to those in sticky situations, those just starting out, both clients and escorts. A virtual primer for many of us who took forever to enter this world; a reference source to which to return time and again; a place for all of us to be heard on any subject, sarcastic or not; a place which also encourages privacy (through PM) when privacy is important. A place to enjoy our fun vicariously; a place to find our next escort and feel confident that we are choosing a wonderful guy to go to: the importance of the reviews and the forum conversations.

Rand -- I had to wait for a while to respond to your post. It hit too close to home. I was in tears at work reading it this morning. I see so much of me in you, so much of what you are going through in my own journey. Do you know how many times I've posted something similar to what you wrote? How many times I've told escorts that they should be proud of what they do because they can make a huge difference in men's lives. I wouldn't be where I am today without the escorts I've hired. I wouldn't have the life I have without them. My escorts have been teacher, counselor, friend, guide. What you wrote really touched me because it is my story as well. Ditto for me. Thank you Forum and all it's participants (even the crabby ones)! I can't tell you how much pleasure you have brought into my life. I never really had to come out of the closet except to find my mother's pumps! It is fascinating listening to other people's struggles. I've applied those struggles to other areas of life many times. Hearing them has made me a better person.

 

To the escorts - Thank you for what you do. For me, the sex is always secondary. It is that personal connection that is primary to me. You provide that. Whether you want to or not, you are bringing and sometimes leaving a little piece of yourself. That makes it so much more than simply a transaction. You should be very proud of what you do.
