LA TOWN MEETING--WAS GREAT!

 

Despite both Tomcal and I having a cold, and less 'working guys' showing up then was hoped, it was great! The food is good but a touch pricy, just as reported, the company and conversation were great.

 

And an especial thanks to BGP for doing all the work to set this up!

 

When do we want to do it again? Maybe something regular like 3rd Thursday of every month, more often?

Gosh y'all are up early!

Thanks to everyone who showed up for the first gettogether.It was a lot of fun,and we chatted long into the night-after a fine dinner and some nice eye candy.

I hope to give a little more notice about the next "do"so more of our Los Angeles based posters can attend.Hopefully some enterprising young men will stop by,have a drink,say hi and increase their customer base.

The main topic was an upcoming gettogether in RIO-sounds like big fun down there!

For those who think numbers'glory days are over,let me tell you that 75%of the clintele last night were attractive young-to youngish guys-lots of eye candy!

Now of course it was the end of the month-rent is due!

Yeah, I saw several I wouldn't have minded taking home, even early, was a touch disappointed none came over to say hi. Guess our group was a little intimidating, we'll have to make the nature of it clearer next time...

 

'Rent is due' tends to drive up business on Craig's List too, maybe we should make it 4th Thursday of every month then??

 

I've emailed through the site everybody that was there (I think... email me if you didn't get one), so y'all have my email now, no reason not to keep in touch! :7 At the least, hope to see you again next time we do this!

Okay, I have had some coffee and I am ready to function a little better. Did I get the right handle? (laidback?) I think a regular 4th Thursday thing is cool and who knows, we may luck out and it will be the week that Tomcal is in RIO for any given month and the rest of us will have half a chance. Frigate Bird doesn't even cover it. He sure swooped down on bigbb90068...heheh

Hope that Anthony will join us again. He was charming (for a twink) <wink>. Would like to extend the invite to any out of towners traveling to L.A. who might want to meet. KY Top, you should plan your next trip out here around one of these meetings (and bring a hottie with you). Deej, sorry you couldn't make it. (were you at Mickey's????)

It was great meeting everyone last night! Seeing as we met at 7:30 and didn't leave until almost 11:30, I guess we had alot to talk about...hmmm. and Jackhammer, I didn't "swoop down" on those unsupecting boys...I was just being socialable, trying to make them feel welcome!! LOL}(

We did figure out that he and I knew each other from one of Doug's party's.

Watch your mailboxes next week, I leave for Rio on Monday, so pics and text should start arriving in your email by Weds!!

It was a lot of fun meeting some of the LA the group last night and putting names with faces.

However 3 posters were wearing black button down shirts. Thought I was at the Lancome Counter for a minute.

The special guest Anthony was a highlight of the evening and this is one person that twink lovers would really enjoy spending some time with.

WOW, the chance to crash a for real Hollywood party. You will have to keep me posted and I just might do that. I have decided to hold my LA return until later in the year after it turns cold weather here. It really adds some pleasure to the trip to be there when it is in the 20's here.

If I might suggest the 21st of Aug.,or the 4th of Sept. The 28th is the start of the Labour day weekend and many folks(myself included)go out of town)I will be in La Belle Montreal-now if we want to have the Town Meeting in Montreal-well I am sure that would be fine!)Not trying to be self centered,just thinking out loud.
