I'm surprised to learn multiple screen names are permitted on the board, even for the purposes that deej described. I agree with Steven D.

(I personally think that if an escort wants to have his public persona and all that goes with it, he should do so with integrity here. If he wants to maintain a private persona and the anonymity that goes with it, he should be obliged to go to the trouble that would entail, like using a separate computer. Ditto with clients. Why make things harder for Daddy and Deej?)

I stand by my original posting on this thread... one name per individual... no more, and no less.... the multiple names for posting from one individual belies the entire basis on which this Forum was created and is one of the reasons I am seriously thinking of signing off forever.

Aunt Fancy I am glad to see you again though i am aware you come to these parts rarely, I am very glad you chose today to grace us with you southern hospitality and gentility. Ever since we first met, Mr Buchanan in his usually abrupt manner, nodding in your direction and spitting out, there is the first Lady, the good senator from Tennessee, I have always found your presence a harkening back to days when men were men and sometimes they were women too. It seems nowadays, the men that are women do not measure, in any dimension to those of yesteryear. Please visit more often. I shall save some iced tea and perhaps a minty beverage or two for you.

Oh, please do tell the class "the entire basis on which this Forum was created"! We'd love to hear it!

If you're going to throw a hissy fit, it's important to be standing on solid ground. I don't think you are.

I took "the entire basis on which the forum was created" to mean the purpose of the forum. The late Hooboy and Daddy are probably the only ones who know, but I'm guessing it's to give potential clients and escorts the opportunity to talk about their experiences with each other and related topics (travel).

:) The screen name isn't needed anymore, since his original screen name is no longer on time out.

That’s close. Maybe it’s a good marketing strategy for an escort to create a new username, and then use it to promote himself. I suppose it could help feed an ego larger than the state of Texas.

I think as long as the site authorizes posting under multiple screen names, the temptation will there for some posters and the system will be abused.

Do you condone a behavior that consist in creating another screen name for the purpose described in my original post?

Well, I only think people should be banned for truly awful stuff, so I'm not against it, especially if the banning causes a change in behavior. But if the behavior is really way off, then they should be banned, period.

different screen name *, but always for fun, and only when the urge is just too strong to overcome. Also, from the get-go, I didn't plan to hide it.

That's not to say that there isn't sometimes a malevolent motive behind a secret sobriquet but I think it takes a pretty talented and lucky poster to be all sugar and spice under one screen name and all acid and acrimony under another.

Plus, often some of the Forum's most entertaining threads have been those spent trying to figure out who's who. http://i1288.photobucket.com/albums/b489/fryerlawrence/Smileys/scratchinghead_zps01dd7fe7.gif

"Secret sobriquet" I like that!

Well here I am again, Rocky from upstate NY, probably no one wants to listen to me. I was so happy when I was able to post to Daddy. And years back I got good advice, good information, no one was attacking one another, it was "gay" family together looking for fun searching for sex and helping each other out. I've found now it's more of a competition of sorts, I like to know where I can have the best fun, where there are cruising sexy gay guys around, but I don't get that anymore. Just appears to be family fighting with each other. I guess I wish for years gone by..sorry about that

Should you, at some point in this thread, acknowledge that you had multiple screen names yourself six or seven year ago.

That second screen is mentioned occasionally, and it's easy to do a search on this site, Steven.

And of course William, everybody is waiting with baited breath for your acknowledgement that this isn't your first pass through...

I'd like to know how some people seem to know that a poster is writing under multiple screen names. Is it their way of writing, syntax or some other thing that gives them away? My question is rhetorical, because I really don't care if someone does it. This forum is what it is, I ignore the nasty stuff, I get good information and I connect with like minded individuals.. What's not to like?

I don’t recall that any of Steven’s other screen name posts were inappropriate.

I don’t know if it’s abusing the system, but it is kind of funny when someone who supposedly doesn’t need the work, feels the need to create a separate screen name to promote himself in a top 10 list or to mention how hot he is.

I've actually kept up with this thread hoping against hope that I would learn something. Alas, no such luck for me, but I must admit that I too have thoroughly enjoyed the return of Aunt Fancy and can only hope that she feels compelled to visit more often. I was prostate on the floor with laughter - well maybe not prostate, but you can imagine what I mean.

The other joy is Daddy's immediate past post on The Dead Horse Theory, something that I was unfamiliar with. This post should be commemorated on a t-shirt at the very least. Since I've been doing less hiring of late, I have more discretionary money and am looking to augment my couture collection.

Lastly - well maybe not - another poster lamented the good old days of yesteryear when there was no bickering, no competition, etc. All I can say is I've been coming here for several years, learned some stuff, enjoyed some banter, and tried to ignore the nastiness when it happened. Remember in the old days I used to scold posters and encourage them to be more civil of tone. Boy, was I a fool! Needless to say, I'm over that.

And again lastly (promise this time) - I really can't say that I remember any confession on SD's part about multiple screen names. Did this appear in the tabloids (National Enquirer perhaps) or what? I don't remember this. All I've seen from Mr Draker is some really terrific posts on occasion with great pictures, the occasional bout of gentle humor mixed with an intelligence that comes through clearly. Not much in the way of mean-spiritedness or bitchiness. I'll stop now. If you've read this far, you deserve a drink on me.

PK, that is the best offer I've had in oh er uh well gosh I can't remember when I had an offer recently.

Yes, let's get together and have drinks at Woody's - and thanks for reading. I'm thrilled at the prospect of actually meeting you, one of my (many) idols here.
