OK, I was wondering if XX pics are absolutely necessary in closing a deal? I have alot of awesome G pics, seductive pics, but sometimes feel people just want your X pic for their own pleasure. What is your thoughts on this?

The answer is "yes." You're selling (or at least renting) your body, and for many clients your ass and your cock are mainly what they're interested in. For example, I'm a total size queen. I wouldn't even consider hiring someone unless I had seen pix of a guy's assets, because I'm not about to spend $200 -$300 on someone who claims to be well-endowed and then turns out to have only an average-sized dick. Other guys are into asses, and want to see what an escort's got there before deciding whom to hire.

 

To me, "seductive" photos are all right as part of a complete gallery/portfolio, because they give an idea of the escorts look and personality, but if that's all an escort shows or offers I'll pass, because it implies a certain degree of game-playing and lack of straightforwardness. If an escort is worried about his privacy, photos that don't show his face can be used, but unless I can see exactly what I'm paying for, I'm not interested. Probably that's one reason why I like the Brazilian saunas so much; you can see exactly what a guy's got before you decide to go with him. That's prevented a lot of disappointments and possibly unpleasant scenes.

I think nude pics can only enhance your ability for more sales. I like to see what I am getting before I hire someone. However, you,unlike many escorts do show their face. That is more important to me than some nude shots. For me, I had much rather hire a cute boy with a nice face than someone with some nice dick and ass shots. But, for me, it is the face that is most important.

 

I have friends that are into dicks. Perhaps a dick pic is what will get them to see you. Everyone has different turn ons. If you want to cater to the larger crowd, put as many different kinds of photos out there as you are comfortable with.

Since starting out (and still to this day), i do not give out anything X-rated, meaning errection/cock/frontal shots. I've got ass shots and other ones that may be considered R-rated, but choose to post nothing harder.

 

There's a unspoken rule in advertising that says to give just enough to get them interested & then let them decide for themselves. Why buy the whole enchillada if you can simply pull up a pic anytime you want? Seriously though, i would never chastise an escort for posting nude images, as every escort is different in whom they cater to. In major cities, the hourly-escort may fare better in that respect than trying to look for travel opportunities. For me, it's simple fact that San Antonio isn't a huge market/draw, so i rely on travel as a means of escorting.

 

Added, i've gotten used to it (longer time periods with my guys) & probably wouldn't want to get back into predominant hourly situations. To each his own, eh?

Absolutely not, in my opinion. As far as my business is concerned, I feel that the tasteful nudes presented on my website coupled with my reviews here allow a potential client to make an informed decision on my companionship. I would never send XXX pics to a potential client. I will, and have, sent a few XXX pics to my most regular clients, but that's it. I'm sure many board participants don't share the same feelings on this subject as I do...I so I will conclude my statement, step down, and put on my anti-flame asbestos suit now. Thanks!

Well, I feel that you should do what you are most comfortable doing, but I doubt you will ever be able to please everyone. Just as there are many clients who won't hire an escort without nude pics there are also many clients who find it exciting to unwrap the package themselves to find out what "goodies" are inside.

If you do release photos of yourself, be sure you add a copyright notice in an area that a pirate wouldn't want to crop out. Also, if you have access to Photoshop you can put an invisible watermark in the picture to protect your rights.

 

Doing so won't neccessarily stop people from trying to steal your image, but it will make many think twice about doing so and perhaps move on to easier territory.

You are seeking opinions and have received some. They point out the obvious -- some clients require them, others do not. Again, what are you comfortable with?. That's what you should do.

 

Personally, I do not require them and certainly I am not impressed by a close up cock or ass shot. I want to see a person, nude or not, hard or not, but not a piece of anatomy. I want a good idea of the body type and a face is great but not essential for me.

 

If you want to maximize your sales, then provide what the prospective client wants, as long as you are comfortable with it. If you choose to, then whether you provide the xx photos on your web site or indivually though email is again dependent on what you are comfortable with.

Escort images are probably the number one factor (well, aside from a good attitude) in what determines if a guy will sink or swim. I think you need a picture that shows enough of what you are selling, and that does not deceive anyone. I like to see face shots (because I hate to be disapointed at the door), ass (because I mostly hire escorts to serve as bottoms) shots and chest shots (so I can verify that the escort is smooth). I don't like tatoos, piercings or scars being electronically removed or otherwise hidden from photos. I don't see the point of dik shots, but then I never hire tops. Fully clothed pics or overly "artistic" pics make me think the escort is trying to hide something more than he is trying to be seductive.
