I know. That's why I added the comment that the ModelMayhem profile didn't necessarily rule out the ad being legit. I would insist on getting a recent photo not on the MM profile to confirm who he is prior to scheduling a meeting, though.

 

some of the men on ModelMayhem do escort such as today's cover boy. That by itself does not mean that the ad is fake.

Yes, he is hot, but the ad certainly doesn't tell you much. Sounds like you have to do a lot of asking - even the "reviews" are available upon REQUEST.

 

But yes, keep us posted as to how this plays out.

Looks like a lot of negotiation might be needed! I don't think I'd ever contact anyone who provided such minimal information.

It's tricky, lol. Ads like this can seem suspect because of too little info - other ads can seem suspect in the way they go overboard and give TOO MUCH info (especially if it all sounds too good to be true, lol). But in general, with an ad like this where the escort seems to be asking you to ask him everything, it does seem like a lot to ask, lol. On the other hand, maybe he's just being guarded, or trying to weed out clients by seeing how they respond? Or, it could all be too good to be true...

I always search the phone number, too, if I'm seriously interested in hiring someone. Finding another ad for a different person always makes me move on, especially if the number also links to ads for women. No "gay for pay" for me. The only exceptions have been if the phone number is associated with something entirely different. Several times I've found listings for other businesses this way. In a few cases, it revealed the escorts' other lines of business. In a couple of cases, it appeared that the phone number used to belong to someone else years ago (links to Yelp reviews that state the businesses are now closed).

 

I did just find this, from Google cache - hoping the link works:

I'm going to credit bostonman for cracking this case. I don't believe that you'll find anything of merit from "Tom". I do, want to clarify some information regarding the cashed Google link, however. http://webcache.googleusercontent.co...&ct=clnk&gl=us.

 

For years, I've had my photos stolen; with relative success, most sites are diligent in removing/suspending the perpetrator after a phone call, email/Skype verification, and a thank you letter. This webcached Google search result is an archived, expired, fake ad that uses my stolen pictures. With many thanks to another user on this forum, this thread was brought to my attention; and, I wanted to literally save face, by clarifying a few details:

 

ALL Legitimate ads that I post will include the following:

 

Reference to video work with Lucas Entertainment (where I'm currently signed exclusively)

A 407-900-9589 contact number

A [email protected] or [email protected] email address

 

I currently list on Rentboy.com, Rentmen.com, Men4Rentnow.com (soon to expire), Massagem4m.com, Adam4adam.com, and I have public profiles on Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr.

 

Sorry that "Tom" was a fake; maybe I can be a good substitute for you. :-) I'm traveling to D.C. from June 26th - July 1st. Send me a message, if you want to set something up.
