As I read the review, it sounds like Brett bottomed bareback, although his profile says 'Always safe'.

 

Anyone read it differently?

Yeah, that scene sounded pretty unsafe. Even if you ignore the reference to "taking loads." The reviewer says "another hung top guy who pounded back and forth into Brett's ass and mine." Unless a fresh condom is used between each "back and forth," this is an unsafe practice for the bottoms, even if a condom is used.

Certainly, it sounds like risky behaviour to me. FWIW I saw Brett in 2005 (and my review is still there); I had a great time with him and after topping him (with condom), he gave me oral (no condom) to completion and swallowed my load. I didn't ask him to do so, but it was hot. Fortunately I was and remain HIV negative.

I hope this isn't true about Brett barebacking. I am so tired of hearing of adult gay men having intercourse without a condom (unless in a monogamous relationship of course). I too hope Brett responds to this review.

What a terrible review. There was a time a couple/few years ago where Brett did state "ask me" for his safe sex practices. I remember as I was interested in hiring him at the time but decided to pass because of that. The sad truth is that a lot of the guys who do list "safe only" practice bareback sex in their real lives and sometimes (or more often than not) with clients as well.

 

I often cruise Manhunt and A4A. Sorry to report that a lot of the very well reviewed, popular escorts do not mention anything about status or safer sex in their hook-up profiles.

I'm always a little surprised about how naive many guys here are about safe sex practices. Yes, many escorts that say "safe sex only" really do mean it. But just like the the gay men generally, a lot of escorts that say "safe sex only" in their ads are more than willing to bareback; they just don't want to publicly admit it. It is an advertisement after all, and they know that a lot of guys will move on past them if they admit to barebacking.

 

I've seen several popular escorts on BBRT, including some that have "safe sex only" listed on their ads.
