I know a few guys that escorted during their college years that moved on, and I've run into again socially. (Detroit's gay scene isn't all that big).

 

One was doing it to put himself through school. I ran into him at a restaurant years later and we got to chatting. He's a successful lawyer now, with a long-term partner, and we have an occasional fuck buddy meeting. He's into being tied up, dominated, and receiving into a bit more pain than I like to give, but damn he's still hot; I'll accomodate.

 

Another I'd seen a couple times and then ran into him at a party thrown by a mutual friend. He was clearly uncomfortable so I didn't let on that I knew him. He was still escorting, and next time I hired him I assured him I'd never let on how we met, or even that I knew him outside of that group. I never knew if his boyfriend knew he was escorting. I have ongoing e mail correspondence with three guys who have moved on. One is a friend I see regularly for dinner and such. He dog sits my dogs and I dog sit his. We have not had sex in years. The other two live thousands of miles away but when they are in the NY area we get together and we talk and text frequently.
