Million Dollar Listing NYC On Bravo... Season 2

My sister and I inteviewed, but eventually did not hire, one of the guys from "Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles" to list her house. His commission was a firm though standard 6%...He was bright, informed, and very professional. While I would on occasion negotiate my commission as part of a more lucrative deal, this was a straight, simple, and clean deal, and I was a little surprised he held firm, but he did know his shit.

Real estate commissions are pretty much set in NYC. I doubt they're making it up.

You got to it first. So far, Ryan has been pretty benign just doing what most realtors do but Luis? I just caught up on the last two episodes after being away and he is completely unethical. If he hadn't been on TV, Keller Williams would have fired him for what he did. He also takes asshole to new heights. I'm really annoyed by his constant swearing which must be beeped. Every sentence has fuck or Jesus Christ or shit or goddamn in it. It's both rude and a sign that he has a small vocabulary. That along with his annoying Puerto Rican Liberace hairdo and I'm starting to skip over his segments.

 

Fredrik really IS weird. What you see on TV is exactly what he's like. I ran into him at a party over the weekend and just a few minutes talking to him and I had to walk away. He is relentless and manic. I don't know how anybody could spend an entire day in his presence.

 

I now wish that bring back that annoying little schlub from last season. At least he was a human being.

This has to be one of the more obvious SCRIPTED Reality Shows yet!

 

I can't wait for the HSWS of NJ to Return next week! Although "Beverly Hills" has them all beat!

Like most reality shows, the interview portions are probably though out if not scripted but the the other parts aren't.

 

I did love Ryan filming the music video in the client's apartment. One thing can't be argued: the camera truly loves him. He is a natural. Fredrik always looks weird and Luis seems to be very high on some sort of drug and his blue eye contacts are a very suspect shade of blue!

 

Ryan getting the little pig from the Chinese woman ("Chinese woman no pay full price") and then chasing it around his gorgeous apartment shirtless in his pajamas was totally priceless.

 

I can't stand those Housewives shows. They shows must be all scripted because I can't believe those women can be that stupid and tacky.

I know one thing for sure. I'm now recommending to my clients that they never use Keller Williams -- ever -- because they were completely unethical for allowing him to get away with that shit.

I haven't watched that show, but Frederik Eklund/Tag Eriksson did have an escort ad up not so many years ago in Washington DC. I sent him an e-mail and tried to hire him, but he didn't answer back. Maybe he was on the verge or had just started to move on to bigger or better things, and hadn't taken down his escort ad yet... I was quite disappointed that I wasn't able to hire him. While I don't recall exactly, I think it was just 3 or 4 years ago. Any of you guys actually succeed in hiring the guy?

Sounds like a lot of sour grapes to me. And from what I hear, they wanted him gone because they found he was so "low energy." Sounds like he's spinning it to his advantage. No surprise. I'm sure were going to hear from those twin bitches on American Idol that they didn't want to be back when everyone knows they were basically fired.

Luis won't be on the show for long with his potty mouth and bouffant hair cut. I'm not crazy about Frederick with his know it all and smarmy attitude. The only one i like is Ryan Serhant and not because he has a nice ass.... he has a cute vulnerability to him as well
