What is the 'policy' for dealing with No-Shows. Are we able to name names?

Absolutely, that is one of the purposes of the forum, however in all fairness, I personally would write an official review first, to give the escort an opportunity to answer the charges, however members will post on the forum all the time about no-shows without writing a review. I think that is perfectly acceptable...IMHO

You can't write an official review, since no-show reviews are not allowed on Daddy's.

They're hard to be verified and harder to be investigated.

This policy has been questioned before (for clarification only), but I would wait for a response from Daddy or one of the moderators. Now, may I extend my congratulations to BVB (as he did to me) for becoming a moderator. What's good for the goose is good for the gander.

If I was you, I would email daddy and ask for guidance.

Now, I'm confused. Goose? Gander?

Boston Bill, you're calling yourself a goose, does that mean you're a woman, or just a bottom? I figure BVB is still a gander, since I've been taking a gander at his posts here.

You certainly are confused!!!!!! But you'll never know the answer to the question. Whether BVB or you are goose or gander is not anything I care to even speculate on. It is just a phrase, and Daddy and the REAL moderators will clarify the question posed on this thread.

Don't know how to direct this to the moderators.....so here is the question for them to answer:

Thanks.

I'm not that confused. I know a gander is an adult male goose. A goose is an adult female goose. My mistake was assuming you were an adult because it was fairly childish to go for "turn about is fair play" on BVB when you really were attempting to moderate the other thread. You're response to my tongue in cheek question did nothing more than to confirm my first impression.

I guess it's better than calling you a bitch about it all.

My look what I miss when I go to dinner. Thank you ISC for that clarification on the tone of my posts. It's not what you say, it's how you say it. For the record, the information I gave apparently is wrong, and I stand corrected, but at no time did I attempt to moderate the thread, as BB obviously did with his tone of anger in numerous previous threads. At least all the ganders in the room get that.

I knew you were up to somebody, er, something... Hope the Eye Candy learns to say Aye! to the Ft Larderdale Captain.

Here's how to send a question to the moderators:

1) Click the link marked "Private Messages" at the top of this page.

2) After the "Private Messages" page displays, click the link marked "Send New Messages." It is in the box marked "My Messages" on the upper-left side of the page

3) When the message page displays, enter "Daddy" (no quotes) in the "Recipent Users" box. You could also address it to deej, cooper, or barry. They are moderators.

4) Type your question in the body of the message.

5) Send the message

6) Wait for the reply.

I had a really inconvenient no-show in Dallas a few years ago by one of the frequent poster/escorts on this site and they wouldn't allow any mention of it on this forum. I had traveled a long way, verified the meeting several times, then no-show, no-answer, no nothing. Wish they would change the policy and allow us to warn others.

Yes! but I personally believe, there should be a special circle in Hell where No-Show escorts go...

Honestly, I have only had one no show and that was a well regarded escort on Daddy's. However, in reality, sometimes things do happen. He offered to get together with me again, but I wasn't able to do it. And the reality is that while it was a major inconvenience at the time, a month later I was over it and had moved on. Don't dwell on it. It's just not worth it.

I always have some other activity planned whenever I travel to see an escort. I have not had a no-show, but, if I do, it will never be a total loss to me. As far as posting a review, why not just PM N13 for the name and location?

There's a boy I hire that is *always* late, by a lot (several hours), but has not gotten to the point of a no-show yet. I've considered setting the appointment for a couple hours earlier than I really mean (which is how my sister deals with inviting the in-laws over for dinner), but that would be the *one* time where he'd make it on time, and I still would not have even left work yet.

Your case is different, at least he try to reschedule. Things do happen, but usually there's time to send a text message cancelling or in your case make new plans, but in many of the no-show stories on here the escorts wouldn't even try to get together later... It's like after making plans and not showing up they "blacklisted" the would-be-client and not even reply to his texts to get together and get paid...

It is shocking that with this economy and in such a competitive profession some guys would turn down $ 200, $250 or $300 for an hour of their time.

Quite often they are still making money because they are seeing one of their regulars who called and they would prefer to keep the regular client happy. Crappy but true.

While I have never actually no-showed on a client, I have had to cancel at the last minute. It wasn't because I had a regular flash their preferred status card or even that I got a much better offer. It was most likely that I didn't want to get the client sick with the flu (which is bad at best) or a cold sore (which could be a reputation-destroying offense, IMHO).

I'm going to make an equal generalization and say that every escort would like a repeat clientele. Even so, the newness of meeting with someone unknown is a huge turn-on for me. And a number of escorts I've talked to feel the same way.

The escort told me when I called him that he missed it on his calendar (We emailed the day before!) This morning I had an email from him apologizing and hoping we could set up another date. Not likely! Seems he should have offered a discount or something to make up for my lost time.

I did contact someone from Masseur Finders (I think that's the name). He was available, adorable, sexy as hell and two of the best hours I have spent with someone. I'm seeing him again on Wednesday night and will ask him if he would like me to write a review. He may not as he is primarily a masseur and he said everything else was not normally on the menu. Don't know if that is a line, but if it is, I think I will buy it anyway. No question....I am in LUST!

Daddy is going to get back to me about my original question.

"What is the 'policy' for dealing with No-Shows. Are we able to name names?"

There is no such thing as a no-show review. As Hooboy used to say, you can't review a restaurant if you didn't eat there.

As far as the MC goes, this is a Daddy question but it falls in our laps all too often so I'll give it a whack. The answer is: IT DEPENDS.

There is not, and never can be, a one size fits all policy. We've checked into a number of these cases over the last 15 years to find (surprise!) there is wide disagreement between the client's version of the story and the escort's. If the escort is a poster here, he can defend himself (or not). If the escort is not a poster here, he's a sitting duck for any client sour grapes vendetta. On any day of the year, Daddy is actively defending at least three escorts against a vendetta being waged unfairly. We do guard against that.

Also, some escorts are attention magnets both positive and negative. We've seen clients write paragraphs excoriating an escort for not showing up and leave out a fundamental detail like the client changed the date of the appointment an hour beforehand.

In the end, it depends. If the report is credible, realistic and free of the "ick" of vendetta we'll probably let it ride. But no promises. Nothing lights up Daddy's inbox like a negative post about an escort.

I know you'd like a "yes" or "no" but there can't be one.
