'Classically' the only times he had a beard was when he was rendered powerless- usually by either being under the influence of a red sun or when red kryptonite has stolen his powers. I don't read comics anymore- and I'm not sure if red kryptonite still exists considering the way why have retconned everything.

As to henry Cavill, that is one good looking guy. I first saw him in the Tudors and then again in Immortals (wow!!)

Actually that's true- in the case where red kryptonite made Superman's hair grow- either he or Supergirl with Krypto used their heat visions to trim his beard.

I guess I would prefer him to be versatile. I remember him from The Tudors, and thought what a HOT STUD he was in that film. I wonder why the paparatazzi have not caught him in a skinny speedo or in the altogether as yet, at least I haven't been able to find him in that condition. He is supposedly a great guy to be around too, and not a big ego like some of his co-stars.

I'm pretty sure that the photos of the hot young guy in the cape with golden accessories, holding the hammer is actually Kellan Lutz, not Henry Cavill. I suspect that's a still from the movie The Immortals, which they both starred in. Either one of them could bend me over a bannister, but they're not the same guy.

I can't see it either. In my browser it shows up as a tiny box barely noticeable- in fact I didn't even notice the 'box' until you mentioned it.
