Well it was FOX after all. I'm not sure what they have to laugh about....besides I take issue with anyone making fun of accomplished gay men. They have been making fun of Tom Cruise for years, and that is so wrong.

 

And I would say that most good-looking straight men are gay, well at least that's what was reported by TMZ, and Harvey, well if anyone knows gay men it would be him...

Those are all different subjects. The Fox Morning Anchors were laughing at him because of his non- sequiturs. The article and video were on the TMZ website. The comments about him being gay were a joke of mine because of the way people on here are always supposing that every handsome man they are attracted to is secretly gay or bi. For the majority of those models and stars- it ain't happening people. But boy if there was one guy that really was secretly gay and that I could have- it would be Ryan Lochte.

I could care less how dumb Ryan Lochte sounds. He's f---ing gorgeous, and I'd love to bear his children. Well maybe not, since they're likely to inherit his intelligence. But they'd be awesome athletes! Oh, heck, this is too much analysis for just staring at a hot Jock on tv. That's all I need. Sigh...

Oh I got all of that...lol lol... and I do wish that Mr. Lochte was gay. Wishful thinking I know, just like my reference to Tom Cruise being gay, this is Hollywood after all, so everyone has a friend who knows someone, who knows someone, etc. that has seen Mr. Cruise with another guy. You should hear some of the elaborate stories that I have heard at Hollywood parties...Of course they can never really prove anything when pressed for details...lol

 

Oh and Harvey is Harvey Levin who is the host of TMZ. He is gay and has a gorgeous boyfriend. They share a rather fabulous home just north of the Sunset Strip.

Sorry, he's definitely not gay. I rarely forgive stupidity and goofiness but ... in Lochte's case ... he's so sexy ... I could care less.

It might be worth getting cable to see the reality show they're doing about him.

 

13 weeks of him blinking into the might be worthwhile if he's doing it wearing various styles of swimwear.

 

I guess he needs to have a job where he

 

a) swims

 

or

 

b) takes his clothes off

The target is ME ME ME- assuming he is going to get naked at some point on the show, of course.

I watched the first episode. My thoughts:

 

He looks much better with his clothes off than on. (We all knew that already, right?) Fortunately, there were lots of scenes where he was shirtless and a few where he was just wearing a Speedo or underwear, looking very hot.

 

Not since "Hey Paula" have I seen a reality show that features someone already famous who comes across as so stupid on his/her own show. Given the semi-scripted nature of "reality TV," I assume Ryan is willing to play dumb for the camera but he really comes across as less bright than I expected. He doesn't even seem to be able to consistently conjugate verbs correctly.

 

He does come across as a nicer person than I expected, though, since I expected him to be an arrogant jerk.

 

Will I watch another episode? Yes, but only for the shots of him wearing a swimsuit or his undies. :)

I saw him on Letterman last night. Beautiful man, until he opens his mouth. It's almost as if he is trying to develop the persona of a "happy-go-lucky-dumb-as-a-post-celebrity. I do love to see him in the pool, though.

I wonder if he's using a lot of ' trees' (if you aren't 'hep' and don't understand this reference- see Cocky Alex DC Thread in the Deli) and that's making him less coherent than he should be.

I watched as much of Lochte's reality show as I could---after 20 minutes I gave up. Even seeing him in his speedos, and in his snug boxer briefs wasn't enough to overcome the rest. I won't watch another episode unless I score with a hunky young man who insists that we watch together---and this just WON'T happen ;)))

What is the target audience? Not sure---I'm guessing pre-teen girls, gay males between 15 and 25 and maybe athletes who want to become celebrities??? One saving grace? His family--great to see him surrounded by siblings who care for him and a mother who obviously loves him. I don't recall seeing a father, but maybe I just missed him??

Agree....lol...I think he is "cute as a button" but I'll need some nudity, and a least some hint that he would jump the fence, like an affectionate little touch on the shoulder of his bff, before I could continue on.

I'm pretty sure the father wasn't featured in the first episode. Who knows whether he'll be shown later. I don't even know how close Ryan is with his father versus his mother, and the only "dirt" I found quickly on line was related to his father having been arrested a couple of times for DUI.

I tried to watch, but even his questionable 'hotness' was not enough to get me past his sophomoric behavior. It was like watching a seven year old 'perform' for the big folks. His intelligence is relegated to the basement, if for nothing else, for taking part in the show in the first place. We do not need a male Jessica Simpson.

 

If he and Justin Bieber are the examples of successful manhood, we are in deeper s--- than I thought. IMHO

Please, Lochte and Bieber in the same sentence? Lochte may be a boob and dumber than a rock but at least there's something to look at. Bieber? A douchebag, an asshole, and nothing to look at. Three strikes, you're out.

 

Lochte isn't marriage material. But hell, he's so fuckable, it's scary.
