Two Justin Bieber stories from this past week. Both seem to close the case on whether or not he's a complete and total douchebag, especially this one:

He visited the Anne Frank Museum this wee and this is what he wrote in the guest book:

"Anne was a great girl. Hopefully, she would have been a 'bielieber.'" -- way to go, make the Holocaust and Anne Frank about yourself!

And then there was his spiritual adviser who talked about how they "read scripture together every day." I suppose this is inbetween his onstage crotch grabbing and his daily yelling of "fuck off" to photographers.

Referring to him as a douche bag is an insult to douche bags. Perhaps we can coin a new cuss word just for him. Better yet, let's just use the word "bieber."

Well said.

Totally egotistical statement- no one in their right mind but a totally self-involved pop idol of millions would even say it out loud although many might think it. In some ways, while again this was idiotic, it shows that fame and fortune don't usually do a body good. I'm sure having the equivalent fame thrust upon one would flummox one of us- and he was only a young teenager when it happened to him. So now he has nothing but yes men and girls throwing themselves at him- who wouldn't be self narcotized by that. Add real drugs or weed along with exhaustion from late night parties- well it's the pop 'n' roll life. I mean he's no Donny Osmond. And I'm betting Donny had a few adventures we dont know about that he looks back on and smiles- or possibly giggles at.

As for Anne- strangely enough she might have had his photo- again most people wouldn't have been stupid enough to mention it- unless it was his piss poor way of trying to connect with the tragedy- she did have photographs of current stars.

Let me start by saying that I find young Bieber's comments inappropriate. On this one, I'd have to say that his comment has little to do with his pop idol status or the balance of his bank account. I'd place this on his age and limited exposure to real world activities as a major contributor.

I have two nephews his age, and I'm sad to say that I wouldn't be surprised if either of them had made a similar comment. They have grown up in an age without the cold war. In their minds, it is easy to assume someone they like and admire would also like them. As such the context of their comments sometimes comes across as insensitive or rude. Just part of growing up.

I wonder if the Anne Frank house was as interesting as 'The 16th Chapel'.

David Letterman is a classic. "Canadian high school". All over Canada teachers are making sure their students know better, at least on this one topic.

And the little puke is reportedly worth well over $100 million. Money can't make up for a lack of class, education or poor parenting.

I apologize to all the douchebags in the world :)

Too many excuses. I'll give you a few names. Shirley Temple. Elizabeth Taylor. Annette Funicello. All had fame -- much bigger than Bieber's -- thrust upon them at younger ages than he did. None, at the age of 19, after years of fame ... was doing or saying anything half as inappropriate or egotistical or disgusting as this little twat. I have a godson his age studying bioengineering at Ohio State. And another at Northwestern. Neither would have thought, or even said, anything as ridiculously full of themselves as Bieber's unbelievably stupid and insensitive comment.
