Escorts who smoke

I find it interesing when reviewers indicate an escort does not smoke and then the prominent picture of him has him holding a cigarette such as one today. I am willing to suppose that the escort did not smoke during the session. Another review of the same escort says he smokes "lightly".

 

Everyone is free to choose their own lifestyle and smoking or not is one of those choices. However, for those who are "bothered" by interacting with anyone who smokes (and I am one such person), it does not seem to matter whether the escort refrains from smoking the day before and the day of a meeting or not. They still at least smell and taste of smoke, if not reek.

 

I suppose the bottom line (no pun) is if the escort can freely choose to smoke then a client can freely choose to not engage him. I appreciate each and every factual account regarding this issue. In other words, a report of whether the escort smokes or not.

I wondered the same thing about one of today's review photos. What is this? Bette Davis in 1947? Prop or not are these people unaware of the huge fines for smokers under the Obama Affordable Care Act...the world is a changin' !

Am totally with you on this one as its a deal breaker for me, not from any moral high ground/judgmental point of view at all, but purely because I have a terrible chemical reaction to that smell, its an instant boner killer for me. Wish I didn't have such a sensitive nose, would love to be as unaffected by it as some guys, but its just not the case> its the only reason i haven't hired Tarkan in NYC who is so hot looking, but I don't want to pay that money and risk it being a disaster. However, I know that once in a porn movie Johnny Hazzard had to smoke but is not a smoker offscreen, so I don't always pay too much attention to the pics as a defining factor.

If smoking is a deal breaker for you it is best to verify with the person that they are indeed a non smoker. Explain to them the importance of the issue to you. Some ads do not have a smoking question in them. Pity to waste your time and theirs when a 10 second question can save all concerned the hassle of a cancelled appointment at the last minute. Same thing applies to people who may be highly allergic to pet hair.

I'm also against hiring smokers (some have lied in the past about it in their listings), so I always make it point to ask directly in advance. Better to know and not disappoint either side by meeting up and finding out they are a smoker.

Before jumping to conclusions, one should find out if the escort actually does smoke. I'm sure people are aware that in photo sessions it isn't uncommon take a photograph of someone with a cigarette. This doesn't mean they smoke. There was an escort I hired who had such a pic in his ad. He didn't actually smoke. I told him it might be a good idea to remove the pic as it gave the wrong impression. He never thought of that. I met him, it's clear he didn't smoke as I could tell a smoker at 500 feet away (I have an allergy to cigarette smoke).

 

So you never know.

Some lie about it, and some just have the photos (Johnny Hazzard for example does not smoke, but there is a still from one of his movies which he has a cigarette). I dated a smoker once (when I was "straight") and everytime I had to kiss her, I made a face. Once she caught me, that was the end of that. It was like kissing an ashtray. It was disgusting.
