Attacks on Hooboy etc

I notice that someone (Hooboy Tweakin/PukeOnDeej) is putting disparaging messages on the system about Hooboy etc and they are being deleted as fast as the moderators can spot them...fine, but the moderators also need to look at the rating sections because this poster is also putting comments in there about Hooboy, Deej, Daddy etc. See, for instance, the rating section for "greatservice4u" - I noticed it because this guy had a negative rating and I wondered why as I have exchanged private messages with him and he seems a nice guy.

This is exactly why I don't support use of the rating system. It has a long history of abuse and serves no constructive purpose.

 

IMHO it should NEVER have been reactivated with the last software upgrade.

You can opt out of the ratings system by going to "edit preferences" in the USER menu. I decided the only ratings I need are my reviews.

He's been sending out emails to some guys on this board as well (an on-line friend told me about one he got -- with all the same garbage in it that's been posted here). Obviously somebody with way too much time on his hands.

OK, I suppose I asked for that...this malicious twat has given me a negative rating in order to put his vile message in my rating section - ooh, that hurts...

I remember a few years ago I belonged to another group and someone offended this brilliant code writer ...well he turned into a mean motherfucker and destroyed the site. It was awful.

There's got to be a way of stopping these disrupters.x(

I got the e-mail too and it was the exact duplicate of the posting. Just as easy to delete and block as anything else!

I got the email, too. And it offended me, of course. But it also offended me that I was not personally attacked. What am I, chopped liver?! And then, in my own little megalomaniac way, it occurred to me that this happened right after I had wondered if someone might not be an agent provocateur, perhaps sent by the police or some other group on the right, to make sure that we didn't get along with each other.

 

BTW, I miss Rush and hope that the only reason he hasn't been around is that he is having too much fun with his new lover.

Got the same email. Since I haven't been around, wondered why I got chosen. That's what caused me to come back and see what's going on here. this trash talker reached a new low even for around here but since he didn't mention meds or therapy, it rules out three locals that I can think of.

seems fairly simple, really, I never disabled my profile and this joker apparently sent the mails out in bulk if I read the posts on the board correctly. At least that's how I figure it.
