The "absence makes the heart grow fonder" kind or the "out of sight, out of mind" kind.

I find myself the later, as the more I see someone the more I want to see someone and the less I see of them, the less I want to see them. I was curious if others are like this or if you prefer to see someone less frequently and find that those feelings and desires heighten over time before seeing them again.

I had to really think about this one d2b. For me it really depends on what kind of relationship I am in. I am fairly easy going, and willing to do whatever is comfortable and still makes the relationship work. So if the other person wants distance, as in the first example, then I am OK with that. Personal preference would probably be "absence makes the heart grow fonder"

I think I'm pretty much the kind that will keep the candle in the window...absence tends to be less fulfilling....so, gotta go with "it makes the heart grow fonder". Just this morning, I found myself thinking about a friend who moved away about three years ago. While we no longer visit frequently, I found the thoughts and memories to be comforting somehow....

I rarely forget folks who have made very much of an impression on me, good, bad or in-between. Naturally, meeting someone and interacting with them makes a "bigger" impression. I agree that it makes a difference about how they feel about visiting. My preference would be visiting more often but I am likely just as fond whichever.

Best regards,

KMEM

When it comes to family and friends, the more I'm with them, then the more I want to be with them.

When it comes to hiring escorts, the less I'm with them, then the more I want to be with them.

When it comes to relationships, oh hell no!
