so today I invited a guy but I don't think he was the guy in the picture. For some reason, I was so stupid and let him start the work but he wanted the money in the beginning. i gave it to him but I couldn't get hard because he was not attractive. I told him to stop and asked him to leave after 10 min. He claimed the whole rate because I called it off. I didn't want to have a trouble because it was in my room so I tried to explain why I didn't want to give the whole rate but he insisted and left :( What would you have done in this case?

Once you started you made the deal with the devil and you had to pay the devil his due. In retrospect, the best would have been to meet him prior to his getting in the room and the to send him on his way with cab fare and a bit for his trouble when it was not the man you were expecting.

Was this for an escort of for a massage session? Some very good masseurs don't look hot at all, but they can be great at what they do. I wouldn't let somebody's 'looks' be an indication of what the experience will be like. On the other hand, if the guy grossly misrepresented himself and sent you fake pics, that's another story. I think you answered your own question - you made a mistake. Don't worry, we all make mistakes and have disappointing experiences. It looks like you learned something from this one. Better luck next time!

it was for escorting. It's really sad that they use fake pictures...Really annoying...I guess I am learning it the hard way lol

How much should I pay for "a bit for his trouble" in general? $20? $50? I just don't like arguing with people, so I am worried that he'd start arguing with me...

You have to go by your gut feeling. If you feel unsafe, then what good is standing on principle and refusing to pay the full amount? A broken arm or head isn't worth it. I was once with a gorgeous masseur, in his hotel room, and he ended the 60-minute massage after 20 minutes. When I protested, he said, "I made you cum; what more do you want?" I started yelling at him, and gave him $60, half his fee. I started for the door, and he blocked it. I yelled at him some more, and when I said, "I ought to call the cops on you!" his expression changed to one of fear, and he stepped away from the door.

So I felt vindicated. But suppose he took a swing at me, or worse? Better safe than sorry is a good motto!

If Maxell Smart were here he would jump on your eyelashes and accuse you for being a wimp and tell you to grow a pair.

However one needs to realize that for some it's hard to stop a session, face confrontation and possible violence (verbal or worse physical). In those cases one should exercise good judgement and of two evils chose the least.

I prefer to meet an unknown escort in the lobby or bar (if one is at a hotel) prior to going up to the room. This way you have an "out" if he doesn't appear as the guy in the ad. Problem is that some of these guys will only come to your room and refuse to meet downstairs. This happened to me in NYC in the autumn. He refused to meet downstairs and eventually (due to that and other things) our meeting fell apart before he even arrived.

To the OP, sadly once the escort is in your room, you're screwed if he doesn't live up to expectations. I've paid several their full fee and asked them to leave within minutes of their arrival when it was clear it wouldn't work out.

I often prefer to meet the escort in a public place such as the lobby and/or the hotel bar or even outside on the street near the entrance. The positive is that I "see" if this is the guy I actually hired. The negative is that he has my cell phone and so if it is not the guy I hired, and I walk away, I have to make sure the phone is on silence so he does not hear the suspicious ringing as I am running ;-)

I often did this in Eastern European countries (primarily as many hotels do not let someone onto the elevators without a key, which is great for security). I was planning to meet the guy in the loby, but stepped outside as the night air was refreshing, and saw a car drive up and deposit a totally different escort rom the "agency" one whom I had met a year before using a different alias, and who was a complete rip-off. I simply walked up the block and did some window shopping at a safe distance. He emerged 15 minutes later rather irate and shouting into his phone and then took a cab home.

Once they get to the door of your hotel room, what can you do? Lok at them through the peep-hole and refuse to open? Then what? Call hotel security? Most clients would prefer a lower profile.

When an escort has no reviews and no face pics, but enough interesting pics and profile to warrant interest, what do you guys think of suggesting a partial fee to "have a quick beer and see how we get along."
