Inspired by the recent thread "It's a guy thing" I decided to pose a question...

 

What is sexy or what do you consider masculine?

 

...when I read the "guy thing" thread the one thing that came to my mind was the Victoria Secret commercial where they have supermodels in underwear and high heels doing what straight guys condiser sexy. Example: one model in a large garage pulling the cover off of a Corvette, another walking around with a bed sheet dragging behind her in a long oppulant hallway.

 

If a company were to make a commercial with just men, asking "what is sexy" what would you want to see in it?

confidence is definitely a good sign of masculinity and the sense that you are enjoying yourself and the company of others (laughing with them, for example, not at their expense or the expense of others), that type of mutual enjoyment ads to pleasure.

 

But as for what is sexy, a wide open face, sparkling eyes with warmth, and a confident, but inviting smile....

I have spent waaaayy too much time watching the young Daddy next door (a Colin Farrell look-alike) cutting his grass in baggy khakis and a dirty tee-shirt, or see him flipping hamburgers on their barbeque in a pair of cut-off jeans and a wife beater. My all time favorite afternoon of watching him was when he and his two toddler boys were running threw the lawn sprinkler. He was wearing a pair of cut-off sweat pants and nothing else. He was swaying left and right, up and down and completely oblivious to it as he laughed and played with the kids.

Sweat stains are sexy to me, also. Especially when they are down the back of a guys pants. Yummmmmmm!

I was at Wildwood walking on the boardwalk, when all of a sudden I see a hot young man (probably 19 or 20) leaning back on the rail next to the stairs leading down under the pier. He was wearing jeans, no undies, or shirt. My mouth was drooling, not because of his youth, but because of his confidence and smile.

 

That is what I find sexy!

In addition to the obvious -- bulging basket, bubble butt, etc -- I love men's pecs that are nicely rounded and fleshy, not necessarily huge, but just two nicely formed muscles rising like two little hardened hills on either side of a gentle valley. If the aureoles are wide and tight, that's even sexier. I also get off on nice legs, muscular thighs and nicely shaped masculine calves, long and elegant as opposed to short and stocky. (Men's legs were considered a major source of pride from the Middles Ages up through the early 19th century. Louis XIV was particularly proud of his legs, and the men of his time often posed for painters to show the curve of their calves. Men's clothing was then designed to show off this attribute until pants came to hide it.)Biceps that stretch the shirt sleeve a little even when not flexed are also very sexy.

Confidence, intelligence & charm are what really does it for me in a guy. Playing cheerleader to someone for too long really doesn't interest me. I've found that in the gay community there are MANY guys who appear to be confident, well-to-do types, but underneath there lies an oxymoron: emotionally, finacially, etc.

This question reminds me of an old country music video, I believe by Sawyer Brown, but don't hold me to that. Two guys in tight jeans, and white tshirts, leaving the convenience store and getting into their pickup trucks, each with a female in tow, but eyeing each other the whole time. Now that was hot to me!

 

That is the kind of thing I would like to see in a commercial. Maybe a Honda motorcycle commercial. The guys would be fit but not body builder types, with dark hair, a 5 oclock shadow, and beautiful light colored eyes.
