Started working in banking during college and never left, save for five years in treasury management (internal banker to a company) and two for a healthcare servicer. I've worked in operations, finance, IT, and solutions consulting.

Kevin I hope you were trying to be funny here. People do make mistakes. Anyone else want to share what they do for a living?

Thank you Atlantagaguy for pointing that out. Some people don't post here anymore because they sometimes don't feel welcome. None of us is without fault. Happy New Year to you...I loved the thread, and it was very interesting.

AGREED! I'll re-post this excellent point separately (yes, even though it

has been discussed before!).

That's what I study - IT Management. But ... unemployed and not on the hiring side of things (yet!) hehe.

I would very much like to be hired. I'm looking at internship opportunities right now, actually!

Well I must say Xander that you are among only a handful of escorts that have posted here that I feel can literally do anything in this world that you set your mind to. You are insightful, intelligent, talented, mature beyond your years, and at your core, have the ability to accomplish whatever it is that you desire. I believe that amazing things await you out there. They are yours for the taking. Let nothing, absolutely nothing stand in your way, and let no one tell you any different.

I'm semi-retired and self-employed in Real Estate. Own property and am a landlord. Done well and am enjoying life.

College professor, here. Also performing classical musician.

Interesting to see how many real estate professionals are here; it reminds me of how many people (not me, unfortunately) actually do get rich by investing in real estate. And I'm also reminded that there are two closeted real estate agents in my small town. Well, one I know is closeted, because he used to come on to me all the time, despite his wife teaching my kids in high school. The other just seems so gay that I can't believe he isn't; he's married, too. When I heard he was getting married, I assumed it was to a guy.

It is interesting how many teachers are here, too.

My job title says "Information Analyst", but I'm really more like a research assistant or perrennial unadmitted grad student in a computer

science department. My real job description is to make myself useful, and they've kept me on for 35 years.

My reward in life is making music, and I have a hobby of preserving other folks' efforts for posterity. I even get paid for that

sometimes . . .

Pharmaceutical Sales for 27 years. Laid off; too old and too much experience to continue in the career that I love. Salary has nothing to do with it, I would gladly work for less if they would just give me a chance, but I guess there is newer blood. Oh Well, I am now doing real estate...

Although I dont yet have a career, Ill share my aspirations if that is okay.

Originally went to College to eventually get into Investment Banking, I had a period of constitutional law infatuation, then there was the whole Management Consulting/PE infatuation, and now Im contemplating a life in the Episcopal Priesthood....varied interests, but High Finance will always be my love.
