There has been some discussion recently and in fact it comes up rather frequently as to when one can start posting. For some of you it seems that when one reads a posters subject you immediately look to the left to see how many posts the person has..God forbid it less than 10.. then some here attack the poster for basically ...posting. When you do this there are a few things you don't realize..

This poster could have been a lurker for many months and is just getting enough balls to step into our community ( and I say that rather loosely). He might start off with an easy post ie...Has anyone been with Jake?? This way he can build up a few posts to get him out of the newbie category (BTW could someone tell me what is the range ...is it 1 thru 100).

After he has a few posts under his skirt than he can move on to more meatier topics like ..How to give a Blow Job..or The best "Fuck Songs" oh wait that was mine..;)

We were all newbies at one time..Do you remember the first time you posted? How long you lurked before you posted..it was some scary shit..I remember mine..

I started posting a few years ago after lurking about 8mnths. Instead of posting about some lame topic to get posts..I believe my post was about a Muscle Hunk Drugged and Raped..which really happened . Well I was attacked big time..In fact by some of the moderators here who after witnessing that I was very serious and I wasn't going anywhere quietly removed their comments from my thread. I haven't forgotten how unwelcomed I felt and I promised I would never do that to anyone.

The post counter which works off and on is no indication of how brilliant you are..all it really means is that one choses to post at every opportunity they get and that is fine. Me.. I am rather selective where I post.. We have seen some blowhards buzz through here and rack up a rather impressive tally antagonizing everyone then without warning..fizzle like a Comet.

This place needs new blood..

I don't regret becomming a memeber here but if I didn't have a huge set of balls (with a dick to go along) I would have vanished after the first attack..and in a "non egotistical" way it would have been your loss..

Remember the next great post could come from a newbie..

Do we need to "Present" or "Feature" someone to give them credibility here..remember when Motown had Diana Ross present the Jackson Five to give them instant credibility being coronated by the greatest girl group of all time, when in actuality it was Suzanne de Passe or Galdys Knight who discovered them.... you get my drift

I'll ask you again my esteemed peers..When should a newbie start posting.. Are certain topics off limits for newbies with posts under 20. I am sure there are hundreds out there who are waiting for your answer.

Okay, G, I agree, despite the fact that I have been criticized for lacking warmth to newbies. But I do feel that if you are going to walk into a room and cut a big fart, the oldbies have a right to talk about the smell.

I do have a genuine interest in what motivates a person to post for the first time, and why they chose the topic they did. It is of interest to me that people pick some unusual ways to introduce themselves.

So I hope that your thread can give people a place to discuss the reasons they lurked, what finally got them into the water, and how well they think they are swimming.

And when a new person posts for the first time, I will not say anything if I don't have anything nice to say, farts excluded.:)

I came to this site for the reviews but occasionally lurked in the Message Center. After about 10 months I finally submitted my first post in a thread about your favorite escort, or something of that nature, since I had started submitting reviews.

My Post Counter did not register as long as I was moderated (a period of about 9-10 months) so my post number is about 200+ more than shows.

The first time I got beat up on was in a thread about KIDS and the originator asked if you had KIDS did they know you were gay? I had tried to stay away from controversial threads and thought the KID thing was safe. WRONG!

Since a few responses made some off base remarks about my KIDS I took it pretty personal and shot back. Now I try not to get too deep into the Anti-Closet conversations, just puts a big target on your head.

I think any lurker finds out real fast about the arrows and spears, and that probably causes many to keep on lurking instead of jumping in. But if your going to Jump in why not Jump in with controversy?

Godiva, I'm glad you had the balls to post this....can I see them..

I actually think that all posts are usually good no matter what....I think some of the arguing is what sucks....but at least I can just put my dick up to those suckers and enjoy a nice wet blow job.

I am sending out a message to all lurkers....post whenever you want...or you can tag on anywhere I post a message. email me if you want to post something that your to afraid to start...hell...I love starting trouble.
