No one's asking him to satisfy my "wants." He's stalked me, lied about me, and posted slanderous comments about me. He's also, most importantly, said "time and time again" that escorts (& most recently, Hooboy) are all embarrased by what we do. I don't need to post his pics; his embarrassment & fear of being exposed is enjoyable enough.

My best friend Tiny Bubbles called me this morning. He was most amazed by the brou-ha-ha. Since he knows me well, he is both amused and appalled by the collective fascination of who I am and what I look like.

 

He also gave me a reality check about this message board. While discussing some of my cyber-sandbox playmates, he mentioned what a twisted bunch of fucks we were. When I said that I was a different type of twisted, he responded, with laser-like clarity, that if I'm swimming in a bowl filled with shit I can't look down and say: "Oh, that's a different kind of shit." According to TB, "it's all still shit." Thank you TB for your scatalogical bit of wisdom. That's why I love you.

 

I've said time and time again that this site is a lark for me. I spend a great amount of time on the computer and the message board breaks up the occassional monotony of the day. It's easy to stop by and see what you twisted fucks are chattering about. I've created a persona for myself here and I take a certain amount of enjoyment in knowing what to say to make the usual subjects get their skirts over their heads. The responses are downright Pavlovian.

 

However, there is a faction on this board that has a sinister edge. If all of this were just a bunch of homos being catty and behaving like faggots, one's identity would be pretty much irrelevant. Unfortunately, some of you take this message board FAR TOO seriously - to the point of psychosis. I've lived long enough to know that unbalanced people are capable of doing frightening things. My life, like everyone else's, has enough drama without the added distraction of some wacko feeling the need to show me who's boss.

 

Rick unfortunately wants to perpetuate the calumny that I stalked him. I've addressed that silly fiction at length so I'm not going to go back down that road. He, for reasons only he knows, continues to shake that chew toy. That's his prerogative, however, I find his obsession with this fiction to be both narcissistic and creepy. I've also learned over the years that creepy narcissists can be dangerous when angered. Rick's taunts of supposedly having pictures of me and his tacit threat of exposure should not be taken lightly - or encouraged by others. Furthermore, he doesn't need to post them here. He can email them to whoever he pleases. What if the pics he thinks are me are actually someone else? I feel sorry for the putz whose pictures are flying all over place.

 

If I were a client of Rick's, I would certainly be concerned about my privacy. What if Rick feels you've done him wrong? Is he going to privately expose you while making up some story about you stalking him? Who knows? I'm not saying that Rick will do that, I'm merely saying that if someone threatens to cross a line that everyone knows should never be crossed, who's to say you're not going to be the next person to be faced with that threat.

 

It's just something to think about as some of you are calling for my head.

Speaking for myself, I take this site with a grain of salt. While some reviews are informative, others are obviously advertisements. While some message center postings are interesting to me, many are not. I am not so narcisstic as to believe that everything here should be of interest to me, but I don't see how escort bashing has a place on an allegedly pro-escort site. I would really enjoy this site if it became moderated HEAVILY. The notion of "free speech" on a website hosted by an individual for a specific purpose is silly. I would rather not see all of the drivel of people who clearly are not interested in hiring escorts or being one. This isn't to say that that everyone should have a positive interest in escorts/escorting, but it's tiresome to repeatedly encounter posts whose only purpose it is to malign someone or something. I wouldn't expect a website directed at any particular group of people or topic to be burdened with haters. It just adds "noise" to the signal. There are certainly many places to "debate" one's opinions, but being a regular here if you have a negative opinion about the purpose of this site is akin to Fred Phelps picketing a gay man's funeral. It certainly isn't likely to change anyone's mind who is actually present; it's just disrespectful harassment.

You admitted it here on 10/19/01 and anyone who was reading the site at that time remembers what was described as your "melt down." I still have the emails (from the AOL email address that you admitted to creating for the purpose of harrassing me) and private messages where you would tell me where you'd seen Derek & me that day, what we were wearing, where we'd gone for lunch, where we lived, etc. There were also posts where you'd taunt me with the info that you and I were friends who'd recently spoken to each other on the street (a total lie) but that "clueless Rick" (your words) had no idea you were FFF. You also posted that you'd seen me at a Diana Ross concert, and Derek & me at Fire Island, to let us know that you were still "watching" us. It wasn't funny...it was creepy. Yes, escorts do get stalked. Stalk: "to follow or observe (a person) persistently, especially out of obsession." Sorry if it makes you feel uncomfortable to hear this, but yes, you're a stalker.

We've gone down this "try to smear Rick" road before; you don't give up, do you? For one thing, you are not a client of mine. I have been escorting for 3 years and have a solid reputation as being honest, sincere, and discreet. I never threatened to expose you, tacitly or otherwise. I merely asked you the simple question of whether or not you would give me permission to post your face pic here, since you were so convinced that I did not know who you were. I've known who you are for about 6 months but I've never once emailed your pic to anyone nor do I ever plan to.

 

One last thing: in 3 years, I have been ripped off more times than I'd care to admit, due to my naiveté (in the beginning) and my continued trust in the basic goodness of people. Last year, Derek and I made a trip to LA from SF (flight & hotel at our expense) to see a client for an overnight, and he cancelled at the last minute. Last month, our trip to Fort Lauderdale was based upon the promise of 2 overnights with a semi-regular client, who also cancelled at the last minute (actually, the first night, he was a "no show"). Those are just 2 recent examples. I've also been physically attacked a few times (once, in the beginning, when I allowed a "mild-mannered" guy to handcuff me to his spiral staircase...uggh), and 2 nights ago was in a scary situation with a client who tried to strangle me (he wasn't trying to kill me; he said he enjoyed doing that to guys to see the fear in their faces...I'm sure I gave him one to enjoy). Not once, in any of these cases (or the others that I've probably forgotten or blocked out), have I ever threatened to "expose" anyone, privately or publically. I don't see the point in that, and I have never nor ever will break the Golden Rule of Discretion. Nice try, though. As I said, this is quite a lark for you.
